Perfect for tiny Pilot holes to help start screws with.
May be I missed something in the description but it did not hold bigger bits. I thought it was a standard chuck but it not. At 1st i thought it was useless till I went install a Thermometer at mom(s). Mom was napping and I need to drill two pilot holes for screws. Pulling out the Large drill would of been too much noise. So I gave this another shoot. Work like a champ for that small job. Was able to get it up and get that chore Done. Perfect for tiny pilot holes if you don't want to Drag out the electric drill. Still looking for a bigger Hand drill for a art project.

By it fir the drill, not the bit!
The hand drill is durable, easy to use, and sturdy in your hand. The crosshatching covering the drill is well placed and gives you excellent gripping surfaces regardless of how you hold it in your hand. However, the drill bits are 100% junk. Anyone who knows anything about tools can tell right off that they are low quality, and the tips have been incorrectly ground and sharpened. These bits are difficult to use as they are very dull and do not cut into any surfaces easily without apply a lot of pressure. If you’re going to use this for model making, just buy the drill, and invest in a good set of bits. I’ve ruined a lot of parts, and have had to do a lot of repairs on projects I’ve used this drill and it’s bits on because of how dull these bits are. Using this drill with a higher quality bit set made all the difference and allowed the tool to be used with the ease and finesse one would desire from it.

A Truly Handy Little Tool Kit
This is a very small and very handy little tool, that will fit into any little supply pouch. It is surprisingly useful in making small holes in anything accept hardened materials. It provides you with a lot of fine control, which is very useful to have. This will be tool I will use for pilot holes in nearly every circumstance. It is my conviction that every handy-person should have one of these in every tool kit they have. When I first got mine from this vendor, they had neglected to include the bits. I was a bit miffed and contacted them saying so; they instantly sent me the missing bits. I am now happy, and would recommend this seller to anyone.

Pin Vise with 31 drills
What a handy little device for drilling holes in model cars. It seems to me that it has all the drill sizes you would need for use with plastic model cars. It was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I would recommend this hand drill to anyone.

The pin vise is good quality
Buy this for the pin vise NOT the drillbits! The pin vise is good quality but the drill bits are not.

Bits are basically useless
The idea of having this little tool was great. I had planned to use it to help drill out the holes that got filled with epoxy on my keychain blanks. More than half of the little bits came in broken. The others I broke while trying to use them. IF the bits were durable the little tool itself is easy to use and would be handy for people who craft or do jewelry. I do still use the largest bit although very sparingly.

Works great - I use for all kinds of miniatures
I have used this pin vise for making dollhouse miniatures, drilling minifigures of all types to make jewelry, and it's a great set for the price. The only quarrel I have with pin vises is that you seem to have to buy the whole set every time when what I really need is the ability to replace just the smallest and next smallest bits.

Works, but not perfect
It does its job, but is difficult in its own ways. If you go in deep at all, the drill catches and just spins in the socket, which makes it difficult to get it back out. It's also tiresome after a while drilling by hand. So far however I have not had a drill break, so there is that.
