Viper Tool Storage V3005LGR 30" 5-Drawer Steel Rolling Cabinet, Premium Series, Lime Green

I just received the cabinet today. The packaging was better than I expected with lots of triple and quad thickness high quality cardboard protection. No visible signs of damage on the packaging but when opened a very small dent in the bottom drawer face which I believe was from the box of casters that may have gotten slammed into the back of the drawer face. Another small dent on the top near the right front corner. Both are minor and not really noticeable. The drawers work very smooth, the pulls are high quality, the casters are rugged, heavy, and come with grease fittings and look nice. The cabinet is rugged, weighing 114 lbs and locking mechanism works great. I like the quality of the paint which seems like it will be durable in the long term. The armor version has extra reinforcings at all outside edges. I am using the cabinet for art supplies like paint, brushes, mediums, etc, so don't need the weight capacity but wanted a cabinet that can take some abuse, mess making, etc, and will use the top surface as a small table for use while painting. It comes with nice drawer inserts that keep contents from sliding around. The handle seems well constructed and assembling the casters was a quick job. The drawers remove easily which you should do if you need to lift the cabinet by yourself. I have read a lot of reviews for other cabinets I considered, in conclusion for the price, this one is good value, maybe even the best value in this size range. I will definitely buy another larger one for my mechanics tools in the future. You will not be disappointed.

I bought 1 of these and two 3-drawer top units. This review applies to all 3 products.A little bit of background. I'm a hardcore garage mechanic. In addition to all the standard stuff, I have multiple torque wrenches (1/2", 3/8" and 1/4"), cordless drivers and drills, full set of air tools (impacts, impact wrench, mini impact, butterfly impact, cutoff tools), multiple pliers and cutters (snap ring, bolt cutters, tubing cutters) etc etc. I recently replaced the alternator, water pump, belts, radiator, fan, fan clutch, transmission and power steering coolers and a few other items on my car.I need cabinets that are solid, operate quietly and efficiently each time, require no maintenance and have plenty of room.The Vipers deliver on all counts. These things "disappear". You forget about the cabinets and just focus on the work. I think that's the highest compliment I could pay them. Three drawers full of heavy fasteners and these things don't flinch. No sharp edges. Excellent build quality. Welds are better than the Craftsmans I've used in the past. Attractive. Will last. Expensive but worth it. I have absolutely no regrets. I will only buy these from now on.

This is a terrific cabinet, and it works great. The drawers are roomy, the casters are super sturdy, and it came without a dent. The shipping company, CEVA however sent me a number of misleading emails about arrival time and date and were hard to pin down. I spent a great deal of time trying to make sure I was available. The local shipper delivered it when they said they would. They said between one and five, and they came at three pm.

This is the most awesome tool cart ever! The casters are very heavy duty and come packed inside the cart. They install so easily and roll and lock flawlessly. They also have grease zerks to facilitate lubing the bearings. You also have to attach the handle on one side. It comes with matching green drawer liners for all but one drawer. I don't know if that is standard or an oversight, but I didn't expect any liners so I had ordered a roll anyway and was able to cut a piece to size for the last drawer. I also order the 3 drawer box for on top. The delivery on this cart was incredible. As soon as I ordered it I was informed of the delivery date 4 days out with a 3 hour window. That day, we got a call when they were 5 minutes away and the two guys toted the heavy box down to my basement for me. Just awesome.

The packaging for this product is very robust, it arrived with no observable damage whatsoever. The Amazon scheduled delivery was great, the driver called ahead and arrived during the advertised window. Once I got this unpacked, I found the top drawer, right side slide jammed. The drawer will not fully extend, I can't reach the release lever and the top drawer is very difficult to open.* The quality of the paint is great, smooth and even, no blemishes or scratches. Painting a large chunk of metalwork like this is not easy.* Shipped with pre-cut matching green drawer liners, nice touch.* Outer body appears to be double-wall steel.* Drawers are single-wall steel. This is fine for home or light industrial, but I wouldn't put this in a commercial job site and expect it to hold up for years.* Metalwork and build is of high quality, seams are even and smooth.If it arrived without what looks like a factory QA failure (broken slide), then I would definitely give it 4 stars. Now it's time to send it back.Update: The Amazon delivery driver collected the old one when they delivered the replacement. The replacement unit is fine, no shipping damage and all the drawers work smoothly. Updated the review to 4 stars. Deducting one star, the first unit had zero shipping damage, the jammed drawer looks a lot like a QC miss from the factory.

Check out a lot of rolling tool chests and this one got good reviews. The way that this was delivered was great. No dents, and very well padded on a wood pallet. Everything works like it should and a drawer liners are a bonus that we appreciated. Locking mechanism is good as this chest sits on a slight incline and we need to keep it locked so the drawers don't slide out. But on a flat surface there shouldn't be a problem. The wheels are heavy duty and lock with a touch. Only thing was we were missing a couple of bolts for the handle and as soon as we called the company they were sent with no problems. All in all I am very pleased with this chest. It's also Orange, my favorite color, and it looks good.

I'd be happy to give this tool cabinet a 4 1/2 stars. I already have another Viper tool cabinet and chest, so I knew what I was getting. I believe the Viper cabinets and chests are better than any others I have seen in the same price range. They are probably not as good as those costing in the thousands, but they are very nice mid-range cabinets and chests. I am pleased with the quality of the cabinet and how it functions. The drawer slides are strong and the drawers open and close easily. The wheels are sturdy and allow the cabinet to be moved easily. Handles on both sides are convenient. My only concern is a small defect in the finish in 1 corner. It is purely cosmetic and only about 1/2 an inch by 1.2 an inch, but the stainless finish is not quite right. After returning another cabinet because of damage in transit and waiting another 2 months for this one, I accepted it knowing there was a slight flaw.

I really like the overall size and also the size of the drawers. Drawer liners were included and there was minimal assembly required. Drawer slides are extremely smooth and drawers closures keep them closed tightly.
