This is the real deal, it doesn't stand out though quite as much as the dark foam that typically comes with air conditioners. Takes a bit of massaging and maybe a day to rest to expand to full size. I used a putty knife to push down in the gap and did some trimming for window sides and muntins on our old, drafty windows. We also got some heavy duty (non-residue leaving) clear window tape, so we're set.

Awesome product. Don't be fooled by the package when it arrives. Just cut the plastic and watch it expand.

I liked that it came in the color gray . A lot less noticeable it matches the air conditioner.Easy to use . Cuts to size . Blocks the cracks .

I used it to fill in the gap in my sliding glass door and doggy door for the cold rainy weather. It tore apart too easily the first day but at least it came with 3 strips.

Ordered this for a Trans Am I am restoring, needed to make my own seal for the main A/C duct on the car and this fit beautifully. It compresses well and was very affordable. I have enough to do at least 2 cars. Would buy again and will recommend it to the Firebird community.
