Quality set
My grandson (age 10)loved this gift. It’s very well made and should last a lifetime. He likes the magnetic feature and that it folds up nicely for travel At first I balked at the price and purchased a cheaper one. Ended up returning it and going with this one. Really glad I did. It’s worth the price.

Great finish, but Small Pieces and weird magnetism
I love the finish of the board and the pieces. The board is especially beautiful. However the pieces feel too small for the grid.Another issue I have is that the magnets don’t magnetize at the center of the square for a satisfying “click” into place.The checkers are also not magnetized, it would be cool to stack them magnetically but unfortunately that is not the case.However the price (30% off in my case for 25$) is unbeatable. The value for money is great. Compared to other options this one feels quality.

Awesome, high quality and priced right! I bought this chess set for my seven-year-old son and I love the fact that it’s magnetic, it’s very convenient. It also looks very classy and he loves it.

Good - won’t last forever
Good craftsmanship - foam insert will eventually wear out making closing the board impossible.

Nice set, light, easy to carry, great deal for playing with family when traveling. Although checkers are not magnetic, only the chess figures, that’s why is getting 4 stars. Besides that, great deal.
