UPDATE 7/6/20:The sensor is working now. I'm upping the rating to 4 stars.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Initially, for the first two days after installation, the motion detector didn't work at all. I considered it defective. So I gave this product a one-star rating. And I contacted the seller to get a replacement. The seller did contact me and offered to send a replacement. Then, starting on the third day after installation, the motion detector started to work...but very inconsistently. When the light comes on, it is quite bright and works well for security purposes.But it does not always come on when there is motion within its field. At least half the time, the motion detector FAILS TO DETECT MOTION. For now, I've decided to keep the light. My rating: 2 stars.The light is stylish; it's a beautiful piece of industrial engineering. But, sadly, mine does not work well for intended purpose.

They function very well even after snowy, cloudy days and with low temps..others die in those conditions but these stay on to their last breath. I have several along my driveway to light my path and vehicle parking area. CON: Is they do not have a swivel for the solar panel, it only can face toward toward the direction of the light beam. That will cause problems in charging if it isn't in a sun dominate area. I cannot shine one way and get a charge from another direction. Otherwise excellent product!!!

I must say the truth here. It says to push the button for Mode 1, Mode 2, and off and our button does exactly nothing. Faulty, somehow.BUT - since it is set to the mode we want - motion detect on, off after a wait - I went ahead and put it up. Not really any reason to return it, which is some trouble for me.Otherwise it's a nice light. Three screws and it's done. I put it into a wooden beam so I even used my own self-tapping and a screw gun. About 30 seconds.

We ordered two solar lights in 2023, when one of them failed, I contacted the seller and they immediately replied to say that they were sending a replacement light to honor their warranty. We are very pleased with the lights, they illuminate the area completely.

Received as ordered. No problem.

I have purchased 6 of the lights in five years and all lasted at least 3 years with no manufacturer’s defect — except this light.. The sensor is terrible. I waited 2 weeks to install it on my new house’s garage. The sensor seemed a little off, but I thought it was me. Then I left for a business trip and vacation for two weeks. When I returned, I realized that the light turned bright when I was 0 to 5 feet from it. It did it matter what horizontal or vertical angle I had placed the light.
