This easy to use paper lantern product (lamp shade) is made with authentic rice paper and includes a stretcher bar to maintain it's shape. It can either be used as purely as a decorative item or be used with a wide range of light sources (not included) to provide temporary or permanent lighting. For permanent room lighting the paper lantern stretcher bar can simply be slipped over a standard electrical pendant lamp cord. As no electrical connection is required to the shade, no DIY skills are required. For events like weddings, parties, functions, festivals etc. We suggest using long life battery powered LED light units to provide subdued evening / night lighting to jazz up your decorations. While mains powered lights can also be used to provide temporary lighting at events in most cases using battery operated LED lights are easier to use.
