First, I love Roto Grip bowling balls. Thus, I was excited to receive this one after seeing a person bowl with it during a tournament. The ball was a beast. After drilling mine and using it in both a league game and a tournament, I am disappointed. My scores and averages dropped considerably.Initially the ball would roll toward the rear and hit the pins with a sharp snap on the back end. I loved it. This lasted approximately three frames. After the three frames the ball did not hit as strongly as it did on first use and at times was uncontrollable. Perhaps I received a lemon. ...... Because I don't want to waste the money spent on the ball and drilling, I am going to try having the ball surface changed to salvage its use. ..... I'll update this review later, if the surface is changed and the ball works. In the interim, I suggest this ball may be better suited for speed and rev dominant bowlers.

Nothing big on my first day throwing but I will say this. The ball hits hard, drives through the pocket. There is at least for me I lost it and don't make it back. Before bowling with it kinda like a pair of shoes break it in. Out the box this ball is like a Mustang, but afterwards it becomes a derby horse. It's a must have ball.
