Pretty and functional
We love this lock. We have an older home with glass doorknobs in the bedrooms and needed a way to lock the doors. This lock was perfect and it matched the current hardware used with the glass knobs.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Ease of use and installation. Ease of installation:It came with wood screws, I have a metal door. Little drilling and the right screws, works perfect.

A problem solving and attractive manual door lock.
Works as intended i bought this lock to close off a door that provided access from a basement floor that could be accessed from the outside rear yard during an illegal breach. Its design makes the lock impossible to accidentally close as opposed to the existing door knob lock that has a small pinhead style lock that can be unintentionally pushed in locking the door. That becomes important to anyone outside without a key and who hopes to get back into the house (with no key to any other door) . And, of course, I am writing from experience.
