This is an excellent flatware set. They have a beautiful champagne color mirrored finish that looks great. These are also quite heavy duty. They have a good amount of heft to them without being uncomfortable to use. They are very comfortable to hold. The hammered body of the handle looks fantastic. They really do look and feel very high quality. I would say the pictures can't truly do it justice, since the reflective design changes the appearance as you look at them. Overall, they perform and look great and I have been very happy with them.

By likely quite a few people's standards, this is a pricey silverware set, but it makes up for it with quality. Compared to cheaper sets, you can feel the weight and quality to this particular set. In terms of cleaning, these have gone through my dishwasher without any issues so far. The color/shine on this set is also very aesthetically pleasing. Overall, just a great silverware set!

The quality was not what I hoped for.

This is a very nice flatware set.It is a pretty color, and from my limited knowledge in how they do the coloring I believe it is something infused with the stainless steel and not a coating, so I am not concerned about the color 'coming off'. I could be wrong though.Our other flatware set is an Oneida set that we have used for almost a decade now and have liked a lot. Compared to that, the spoons in this set are a little bit larger and longer, the small fork is more of a narrow dessert fork vs. a short one, and the knife in this set is a little bit 'sharper'. Now, the knife is not 'sharp' really, as it is a butter knife, but instead of just having the slight serration on it like our other butter knife, it also is a little bit angled on the other side of the knife making it a tiny bit more 'sharp' than our other butter knives. This set is also slightly more squared on the edges than our Oneida set, which is more rounded.I don't think any of that stuff makes this set better or worse; I am just sharing in case it helps anyone decide what they are looking for. I like both sets very much. I can tell that this is a much 'fancier' set, but really I like them both. I am not setting this aside to only use on special occasions because I don't have that many special occasions, haha. So we are using them for daily stuff.They've been through our dishwasher a few times now and have had no issues.

These are light, yet solid and look great. I would've preferred the black/matte set, but that's a personal opinion...but at least there are a few color options to choose from and that is a very good thing. I will say that I am not sure they are worth the full price, but they seem like a premium set. I am wondering now how well the color will hold up to every day use and dishwasher loads, but only time will tell. We will use these for our more fancy dinners, but I can see us using these regularly. They are much better than the standard dollar store quality set we have been using that is for sure! If you want a premium set you will be paying a premium price...but I would still recommend this. Just know that the gold color is very "brassy" and bright..make sure it matches what you are going for.

This is nice, thick flatware with a great feel in your hand. I like the hammered look, but I sorta wish I hadn't gotten the champagne mirror version. It warns not to "soak" the pieces, but I wash all of my dishes in the sink and sometimes they sit in sink water for a bit before I decide to wash. I'm worried they might discolor or lose their shininess. I also found the color and sheen a little too much. I'm an Amazon Vine reviewer, and we can't return items, so I can't send them back and ask for black or silver.

I've owned a couple sets of Cambridge flatware in the past and never been disappointed. This set also delivers and I am very pleased with it. The size and weight of the pieces is just right for everyday use. The hammered metal handles are a great look because they complement a contemporary or a traditional table setting nicely. I especially like the elongated (oblong) shape of the face of the spoons and the champagne plating effect of the pieces. This boxed set of flatware would make a nice gift, but I like them so much that I will keep and use these myself.
