NYEAR 57mm NP100 Black Portable Thermal Label Receipt Printer USB Bluetooth Bill Printer

MOST RECENT UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM -So, making a review for this printer. I will update it from time to time.1. Build Quality - I would say that its a solid build. The plastic material its made of is rigid. Not flimsy or cheap. It gives a premium feel. The flap where the roll goes shuts solid. There is a place to hook it in case you need to carry it for portability.2. Connectivity - It says it can be connected to desktop and bluetooth. I have tried it with bluetooth and it connects well. Its very easy to connect with bluetooth. Turn it on from the power button, turn on the bluetooth on the phone, search it and connect it. Thats it.Connection to desktop via the USB cable (not included) is not that good. The printer driver is not included in the packaging. You have to download from the site or have the support team send it to you. They will send it via WhatsApp. Cant be sent via email as its too big to be sent in email. Installaying the printer driver is just impossible. It has instructions but they dont work. I tried it many times to install on the deaktop but it gives errors. Restarted the desktop and still gives some errors about ports. The installation should have been easy but its not. So dont expect it to br used with the desktop.The software to print labels or receipts from desktop is ok. Its not as intuitive as other name brand companies have but it I assume it would do the purpose IF the printer driver would have been installed. The support team also said that printing from the desktop wont bring desired results. So expect it to use with phone only.3. Printing - In order to print the receipts you have to install the app on your android phone. The app is good but it asks for location permission. Not sure why. Why would the app need location. Anyway, to get past that you will have to press back button on your phone 10 times.Now install the thermal receipt paper. Installing the paper is not a big thing but it wastes the paper every time it prints. My main purpose was to print labels so I would talk about printing labels. Every time you connect the printer to the phone it wastes one label. Since its bluetooth so I assume your phone goes to deep sleep mode after sometime. Thats when the connection breaks. You connect the printer again and it wastes another sticker. So lets say you print 10 stickers now, 5 stickers after an hour, 5 in the afternoon and 10 in the evening SO you are wasting around 3-4 labels in a day. I certainly dont like it.I have had problems otherwise too. Initially evey one label I printed it throws out 6 blank labels. Again 6 labels wasted for no reason. Somehow it fixed this issue itself but now the labels dont align. After a label is printed it doesnt feed and align the next label properly. Sometimes it does and most of the times it dont. Most of the times the printing is cut off from the top.Now the app - the app looks good. However, it has some flaws. No matter how much you align text to the ends it still leaves a lot of empty space on the sides. I tried to align everything to the extreme left and right ends BUT when it prints it leaves empty space and sqishes the text. So in the app it looks fine but when you print it looks small because of the space or margins left on the sides.So far I haven been wasting labels but I have been on contact with the support all this time. These issues were raised to the tech team and they said its the way it works. They were responsive though and willing to help all this time. They even made tutorials for me to explain but it is ehat it is.What I assume is that its not the printers fault, its the app. I havent tried it with another app yet but when I do get time I will, since I am testing this printer. Upon these issues they also released an update to the app but it hasnt fixed anything signifactly yet. Keep in mind that this is not my first printer. Also, I know and I have tweaked and played around with all the settings in the app.My suggestion so far - This is a very good printer in build quality and otherwise. Its just a matter that the company need to fix its app. Once they fix the limitations in the app this is a super printer. Without the fixes also I would still recommed this printer as this is a good one for the price. Other printer are ridiculously expensive. I certainly bieve that thermal printers shouldnt cost 300-400. They should be well less than $100 and around $50. Its been years we have had thermal printers in the market. Even after so many years if the price doesnt go down then its a shame. Chinese companies should be given a chance provided they give us support and fix the issues.So far this company has been great in responding SO I wouls recommend this printer as a BUY. Just have patience.02/25/19 - Sometime ago I wrote about the issues. After few weeks I got an update on their android app. They had written in the update what was fixed. So I updated and it works better now. As I said before that product is good but its the app. So the paper spacing is better now. When we print a sticker the next sticker behind it spaces better now. It doesn't print any extra blank stickers now (so far not for me).In the update it said that the sticker print width is adjusted. I didn't feel it that way but I will check again.It still pushed out a blank sticker everytime it connects. So my issue is the same that since its Bluetooth and connected with the phone, the phone goes to sleep(deep sleep) after sometime and the connection drops So when you bring the app back up it connects again and prints a blank sticker. I think this is industry wide behavior.Just another request or I would like to see is a good way to instal the desktop drivers. I am still not able to install the desktop drivers so I can not use it with the desktop. I believe if installing the desktop drivers software or process is done painless and it can be used on the desktop then the issue of pushing a blank sticker everytime it connects will be eliminated. This way the printer can be connected to the computer all the time via the USB wire.

Unable to connect neither computer nor mobile. Product website is not in English which made us unable to read any other necessary details.

personally the printer did not work with my device, i could not get the app to work and there was not a program to download to use, this would however work great if you have a bluetooth POS system.

I need the sofware dirver please.whit instrucctions on english not on chinese.
