Healthy and Filling
This sorghum has a neutral flavor but adds texture to soups and stews. I cook it together with hulled barley to make stew but it take at least an hour to cook through. It's worth the wait and good for you.

Not for popping
Not popping type. I didn't realize that until I had attempted to pop it. Then I see on the bag it specified not for popping. Bummer.

Yummy
Taste better than expected. I have never tried it before. Purchased it because of the health benefits, especially dealing with blood sugar/glycemic index. So far, used on my cereal and PB&J. Will be ordering more when I'm low.

Taste is always personal.
I have eaten these but I am not anxious to eat them again soon. There is nothing offensive about the taste but it is not one I prefer. They do need cleaning. There is more time and effort required to clean these than I anticipated. That is the reason I rate 4 out of five. I understand this is a healthy food and one that could be very important for long term food needs of humanity. I will encourage others to give them a try because of the favorable health benefits to cost ratio. I cannot comment on the quality because I have not eaten these before so I have no basis for comparison.

It's available and organic.
Sorghums are not typically available in local grocery stores. They are recommended by Dr. Greger. So I am very pleased to have a source for this organic product.

Not as tasty as lighter colored sorghum
This sorghum is ver dark colored and has a purple color when cooked. It maybe more nutritious or easier to grow, but it has a bitter aftertaste . I often make a crunchy cereal by air frying pressure cooked sorghum 10 minutes together with chopped walnuts it tasted ok but not as good as regular light colored sorghum.
