First one burned down for no reason. Will be more careful with 2nd purchase, but there should be more protection onboard.

This unit works well. I use it to boost the voltage from a 12.6 volt LIFEPO4 battery to 14 volts and maintain it for my ham radio transceiver. It keeps it perfectly at 14.0 volts until the battery management kick off at 10.6 volts in my LIFEPO4 battery. My transceiver tops out at 18 amps at 105 watts and this keeps it at the 14 volt mark occasionally dropping to 13.8 volts. I am at the limit of this booster so occasionally it shuts down if I hit 19amps. So it’s just a 250 watt rating not what they claim. As your battery voltage drops your current will go up. So it performs admirably for my purpose. I believe their ratings need revision for output so I am removing one star.

Mine works well; i tried it at a few input & output voltages and loads.Note that there are many other copies of this item, some with lots more Info! So i got this one because it was the lowest cost.

Can't tell you whether this boost converter works or doesn't work because it came with no instructions whatsoever and none appear to be available online. It is bare board with multiple screw adjustable pots, but no clear labelling as to the function of any. It would be so simple to just include a single sheet with identification of the control pots. As it is, I will have to guess and use lab tools to figure out which pot does what. Most potential customers would not have the lab tools I have to try and figure it out.
