I purchased this ramp for the back porch at my grandparents house so that my granny could get in and out without having to lift up her walker. This was a great investment because it made life so much easier for her. It was simple to assemble and get screwed into the wall at the backdoor. It already has grip tape adhered so even when it is wet, there is traction and her walker went right up it without a problem. The only thing we have had stuggles with is the slats moving and not staying straight but my husband will just adjust them. This is the only design flaw that we have noticed. It is a great quality ramp that is sturdy and fits perfectly in the space we needed it. We got exactly what we ordered.

This ramp is very helpful to me. It is installed at the door going from the garage to the house. I did have someone install it for me because it needed to be secured so that the pieces did not slide apart. My suggestion to someone wanting to purchase this is to do what the guy did for me. Add screws to hold each piece together so they don't slide apart after installation. Order a ramp longer than you think you need, especially if the rise is 6", so that it is not too steep. I wish I had ordered a longer one. He also added hand rails, on each side of the ramp, for increased safety. Once everything was installed, and the pieces were screwed together, it is very stable and helpful.

This light weight beautiful ramp is unlike our other purchased ramps in that it comes in a dozen pieces vs 1 assembled solidly sturdy piece. While all fit in easily into manufacturer’s mailer package, THE FLAW is that these pieces do not lock into the provided slots- they merely SIT IN PLACE. While after securing joined slots to door frame and other end to floor, pressured together, they do hold together making a workable ramp. Until completed however a MADDENING and UNNECESSARY situation arises with each slotted piece popping out comically anytime you move the piece for your fit. Funny maybe, but ‘stupid’. While carefully crafted into slots the inability to LOCK in place is honestly stupid. Like making a model plane as a kid but using NO GLUE.While I will keep this product, I do not recommend it, nor will I buy any more for our other spots needing any sort of ramp.

It falls apart no way to secure each piece so I sent it back

I bought this ramp to help a loved one whose acute injury had them using a walker/ wheelchair. It is the perfect ramp to reach a raised door threshold without having to step up, and was sturdy for multiple months of use. The multiple pieces allow for some height adjustability. This seems particularly good for a temporary need as it can be taken apart to store when not in use.

Only 2 complaints: 1) not exact size of each section so alignment is difficult for a clean installation, a difference of up to 1/8"+/-. 2) edges need to be covered with tape or other material to prevent slicing fingers. Would have been better if the edges were ground smooth. Works will for interior and exterior application. We have an elderly family member that uses a rolling walker and has made life much easier for her.

Easy to put together. Comes in many sizes. Install off center to get maximum use.

I ended up returning this item because it was very steep and seemed it would be slippery if it rained. I did not feel it was safe for a walker or a wheelchair. Item itself was very heavy duty in sturdy
