Works Great, Very Bright, Works EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED

I am not sure if this is a mix up on Amazon's side but the first time it arrived upon opening the box it was obviously a return as the screws and wire nuts were loose in the box and the mounting plate was missing, so I initiated the replace order and got the replacement and this time it was new, nothing opened or missing.Installing this light can be quick and easy if you either have a location already wired / replacing an existing light or can run a new electrical wire run while doing so within code of course. Outside of those 2 options, the best alternative option is to hire an electrician to install it so that the install is properly within code.Once installed the light works great! It's very bright and works perfect for the area I need to light up, which is the side of our house that doesn't face any neighbors but is really dark at night. With this light installed now if we need to go out to that side of the house to take out the trash or do anything else we won't be having to fumble around with our phone flashlight on!So far it seems to be working just fine and have had no issues and really love this motion sensor light!

I was looking for security lights with a remote. There are not that many that have that feature (at the time of this review I only saw one other type being sold on amazon)Pros- Very good motion and long distance.- Cheap- lots of features that can be controlled through the remote (big plus in my opinion)- can be turn on or off , not just motion light (what I was looking for)Cons- All plastic construction (from my experience the lights I bought before are metal in the back to allow heat dissipation, but I saw a review where someone said it was a pro since plastic doesn't corrode )- The other lights I have seen have all the wires behind the fixture so it not exposed, but this one has some of it coming out of the light as an extension cord then through the base where you wire it to the power source (will this break? only time will tell)- The motion sensor came off , but I popped it back on since its clip on. (when installing I can see someone breaking it if they are not careful.- I walked outside and it was on during the day. I am not sure what happened, but maybe I had it on the wrong mode. I changed it to off, then it wouldn't respond for a few hours. I think it was over heating since it was on during the day and was on for sometime. I think situations like this could lead to premature failure (for having it on for too long during the day). After that I haven't had any issue.ConclusionI would recommend for anyone look for a security light with a remote. Only time will tell if the light will last since there aren't many reviews on this light. I may do an update if I remember to later on.

This is a very nice motion detections outdoor light. i like the options of brightness and remote control vs.getting a ladder to adjust sensitivity only.

I love the brightness of this light and I appreciate the little things like soldering on the end of the wires.What I bought it for was so that I can turn it on when I have wildlife in the yard via the remote so I do not scare them away. The remote is almost but not quite worthless. It works if you are within 3 feet of the light. If I am within 3 feet of the light what I’m trying to see is long gone. The motion sensor only works so/so. I don’t get anywhere near the distance it suggests I should get. Maybe half of what they claim. Most of the deer in my yard passing it at 30 feet do not set it off. I will not return it, it is mounted and wired and when it does come on lights up the yard like a nighttime football game.
