The product is good, but the delivery was poor, it was delivered to wrong house.

this is ok, and on first appearance it looks quite sturdy. On closer inspection it is poorly put together, and the wood is split in places. The table arrives assembled so no assembly necessary. The table is smaller than the impression the image gives, but that is ok. The string is very thin, and i don't think it will survive long.We cut the string off and mounted the table on our old table base.Overall expensive for what you get and not entirely convinced it will last that long.....

I have previously had a similar bird feeder for the last 6 years, sadly it has now collapsed. I was surprised when this one arrived how sturdy it was and being the same size will fit in the same space on the tree. However it is a shame that it wasn't as weatherproof & without treatment I doubt if it would last more than a couple of years. It has now had two coats of preservative & looks lovely, all ready to go outside in the Spring.

Used a wood protector to help as this was not in the finish of the item

Good quick delivery. A very attractive and well made hanging bird table which already has lots of feathered visitors. The string which it hangs by doesn't look very strong, but it seems to be holding alright...so far.

I bought this to replace a bird table I have had for some years as the floor had rotted. The Rado does seem to be sturdy but the whole thing is badly let down by the flimsy bit of string which it is going to be suspended by. Compared to the rope on my old bird table (see pic) I doubt it will last very long, and unfortunately it has been constructed so that I will not be able to replace the string without dismantling the roof. That in itself will be tricky as it is stapled rather than screwed.Also, there are no drainage holes in the base so in wet weather the food will be sloshing around in a pool of water. I can drill holes for drainage myself, but it would have been so easy to do this at the construction stage and save me the trouble.Lastly, and possibly most importantly, the wood isn't (I don't think) FSC certified or any equivalent. I did know this when I bought it, but couldn't find anything like the Rado which was certified and in my price bracket.I won't buy another of these bird tables, unless the above issues have been addressed.
