Great Speaker from SOUNDCORE
I love this speaker, the sound quality is actually good, the amount of bass I would say is ideal, in my case the soundcore signature is perfect and is the one I always use to play music, I've used at times the ‘Voice’ preset to attenuate the low frequencies that can resonate listening to a podcast in the shower or bathroom in general. It is appreciated that there is an equalizer available in the app for those people who want to tweak the sound to their liking, plus the ‘Adaptive Direction’ feature I consider useful as it really boosts those frequencies that can be mitigated after being in a certain position. I liked the battery life well enough, it has performed quite well for the use I usually give it.

Crisp and Clean
I'm a big fan of Anker and probably will always be. I slipped off the wagon and bought another product with a great discount. The Bluetooth connectivity was poor, and after about a year, the battery life was non-existent.I jumped on the opportunity to get this one, as it was at a substantial discount. The clarity of sounds is amazing. It can be played indoors or out. I don't plan on dunking it in a pool, but it may get caught in the rain. Completely waterproof! These guys have created incredible products that compete with the big boys, and only half the cost. I wish more companies were like this.Great purchase and I highly recommend!

Incredible Sound from Such a Compact Speaker!
I am absolutely blown away by the Soundcore Motion 300! The audio quality is crisp, clear, and surprisingly powerful for its size, with rich bass that truly enhances the listening experience thanks to the BassUp technology. It's incredibly portable, the battery life is fantastic, and it connects seamlessly via Bluetooth. Whether I'm at home, in the park, or on a hike, this speaker delivers phenomenal sound every time. An outstanding product!

We love this speaker.
Great speaker. Good quality sound. We’ve been using this for over a year now and it’s been a workhorse. It moves from wood shop to living room and beyond. The battery life seems good, but we do recharge it most nights.

Doesn't sound quite right, not terribly musical
In my day I've owned and purchased and used and had "die on me" quite a few bluetooth speakers, typically right around this caliber; 30 watts give or take, two active drivers and some passive radiators... so I'm used to this type of portable speaker and know what is reasonable to expect from them in terms of distortion, SQ, volume and clarity and all that.Out of the box, this is the most disappointing speaker I have played with. Thankfully I'm a SoundCore earbuds user so I already had their app, and it's absolutely needed to get the speaker to sound half-decent.I like that the speaker can go to a pre-defined EQ setting based on its orientation or how it's being used, but I wish Soundcore would have done the hard work for us and pre-tuned the EQ to actually sound good right out of the box. I have no complaints with my SC Earbud's SQ... The pre-made EQs do not bring out the best in this speaker, to my ears. After a lot of playing around, I realized that I'll have to continue to do more playing around to get this speaker to sound how I'd like it to.In a way, it seems like having a 6-bit LCD panel and I have to adjust the color options (to death) in order to make it look acceptable for what I'm watching, and then if I go watch something else, I have to re-adjust everything yet again. This feels like that, where the EQ is a crutch for a low-fidelity audio processing engine, but I could be mistaken. Like it's only able to work with about 40% of the available "sound space"... that may only make sense to about 3% of people reading this.I'm going to put more hours on it with the hope that as it "breaks in" it will "open up" and sound better, but to be completely honest, it's the least musical sounding portable speaker I have ever purchased. Why 4 stars for all this raggin'? The product is really nicely put together, comes at a great price, has excellent app integration and the EQ settings really do, for better or for worse, have a huge impact on how the speaker sounds. Heck I even ordered a second one to use for TWS.I'm hoping that:A. This will sound better with more hours on itB. It'll hold up for many years of useWe'll see. The market is absolutely FLOODED with options and marketing hype/BS is at record levels. It's very difficult to make a value conscience purchasing decision w/o hands-on time. All the YT coverage I have seen of this product has been unhelpful or shilly so I'm left to my own experience to determine whether this highly praised speaker is actually worth investing my energy into.Every other speaker I've purchased in this category has sounded fine right out of the box, with no ability (or need) to change a bunch of BS and install Apps.

Darn good speaker for the $$
Now, I am comparing this to the Bose flex and let me tell you this sounds just as good and gets just as loud. This is a mono speaker, Bose is stereo. This battery lasts longer and the blue tooth connection is as strong as the Bose. The Bose is cleaner sounding but just a little. For the money it is well worth it as it is usually half the price of the Bose. The speaker seems durable enough, has a rubber housing and metal grill.Overall I recommend this speaker.
