Unstable base
I highly recommend the manufacturer or seller stick on some rubber base. This will make it stand well because like some others, the base I had on mine wasn’t level.

I had high hopes
I thought this would be the perfect solution for the shaving set I bought my son. The clear material matches everything and there's no metal to discolor or rust. But alas. It was not to be. The product sent to me has a warped base and thus, it stands like the Leaning Tower of Piza on my counter. Will return.Update: I was sent a replacement brush stand and the replacement was perfect. Very pleased with the outcome.
