Exactly what I needed to do an unexpected paint job in a tight space under the stairs. The previous owners of the house left the area under the basement stairs unfinished and we live in a very humid environment. Much to my chagrin about a year after we moved in I went to look for something and there was mold growing on the unfinished walls. So I needed materials to remediate and get the job done quickly, but kind of on the cheap as we have other projects going on. After removal of the mold I needed to paint quickly, these filters came with a mask and while the set up might not look pretty, it got the job done! The mask fit well, and the filters did the job. I could not smell anything during the painting process and it is a very tight, unfiltered area. Thankful I was able to find something at low cost that fit well!

Used these w/ a full face 3m gas mask. I put these filters on when entering a room that had been gassed w/ an ozone machine.I entered the room for less than a minute to open a window and walked back out to closed the sealed off room. After removing the gas mask, I had a strong lingering odor of something similar to ammonia (probably Ozone) inside my nose.I do know how to fit a gas mask. I don't have any facial hair and I was sure there weren't any air leaks around the seal of the mask.Its hard for us consumers to properly test out the effectiveness of these masks. We don't know if the company is held to the same standards as big manufacturers like 3M. All I know is that these masks are unbranded and come from China by a generic vendor. Supposedly these cartridges should filter out vapors.

The listing is for one set of cartridges but at the time of my review, it mentions including a discolored mask as a bonus. I'm not sure if the mask will stay included with future listings but on mine the mask was not discolored at all and I wasn't sure if they were being super picky with their stock or if there's some legal reason they didn't want ot just label it as a set and sell it that way. Either way, the mask works fine and I'll probably just go ahead and use it. My 3M one is nicer but there isn't a huge difference and this seems well made too. It makes a nice seal and is a similar design to the classic 3M mask.The cartridges are securely shipped in a vacuum sealed thick package. They have a pasticy chemical odor when you open it up but it went away pretty quick after letting it air out a bit before using.The only thing less than perfect for me is a lack of any info on 3rd party testing or certification for the cartridges. I trust that it works as a P100 respirator, but there's no info to base that on or confirm. If I was in a situation where it was life or death, I'd probably spend a few more bucks and get something name brand. For me though, most of the time I'm wearing a respirator it's for stuff that I'd prefer not to breathe, but not a situation where I'd be in any immediate safety risk without a mask (for example, doing work in buildings that have had recent structure fires, etc.). Based on my situation, I have a little higher risk tolerance for this but you may or may not be comfortable with this.

Hello friends, I've selected this p100 respirator cartridge filter for a standard 3M mask.These filters are no joke. They filter out everything. You cannot smell anything but clean air in these guys. The pink color is very fun. This particular set came with an extra mask which I thought was cool. It's not high quality but it will be useful when the time comes. I didn't even realize that was a thing until I read the product description. It says that the mask is slightly yellowed due to mishandling during transportation. Mine was not yellow. It was clear. It was pretty cool to get such a free gift so thank you. Appreciate their honesty too so I'm giving him five stars. Five stars for an excellent product in five stars for being honest. The filters themselves hook on very easy onto the mask so you won't have any problems. They were also air sealed so when you open them you break the seal. Very good quality mask. Good price too. Fifteen bucks at the time of this review. I have purchased these before at twenty bucks. I highly recommend them.

These respirator cartridges work really well. The fit well on my face and seal nicely. I use these when doing wood work, both cutting and staining. They filter out the dust and smells. I'm very happy with these.

These cartridges fit a standard 3M-style bayonet mount for your mask. They are NOT actual 3M products, however. I'm not often a brand-specific guy, but when it comes to PPE and something I depend on to protect my health and body, I'm pretty picky.I did use these filter cartridges on some low-risk activities. They are adequate. Based just on scent getting through, they don't filter as well as 3M cartridges. They also don't last as long -- you can tell they are going downhill as you are working.If you're working with VOCs or toxic chemicals, I cannot recommend these cartridges -- go with the OEM that has quality you can trust and depend on. If you just want to avoid some bad smells or dust out in your shop, then this is an adequate choice.

This came with a bonus mask that appears to be just as good as a 3M. Appears well-made and just like the 3M mask but maybe not quite as soft. The filters do not have replaceable prefilters which I wish these did. Haven't a way to test the particulate claims so I'll just have to step out on faith that they're telling the truth. Will update you if there is any new information. Overall these are a great value and an easy recommendation.

package came damaged, so did a respirator mask, one of the plastic holders that hold down the straps came broken, so I'm guessing this is a used mask but the cartridges came unopened thank god, i would recommend you double check you package to see if you have a damaged mask, so now im wondering if i can get a replacement
