I bought these because since I cut my own hair, I wanted a good quality pair of scissors, but not have to pay a small fortune for a professional pair that a hairdresser would use for work. They arrived quickly and were well packaged, so I was pleased about that. The overall construction of the scissors is very good, although it does have a "step" in the cutting action when you get near the end, hence only 4 stars and not 5. For home use, they suit my needs; the kind of hair cut where you brush your hair over your head, tie it in a pony and slide the pony holder down to where you want to cut. I've medium thickness hair, and the scissors snipped about an inch off with ease and gave me a wonderful layered cut. The "step" didn't seem to amount to much when I used it, so it's a definite keeper. Considering what they cost, versus how much a hairdresser charges me to trim a couple of inches off my hair, it's well worth the money and I get a lot of compliments on my hair-style.Overall, I'd say they are a good buy; but the "good quality" could be made better if they had quality control people try these out before packaging them for sale; they'd see the "step" in it and fix it. Like I said, for home use, it's a good pair to have though.

not used them much so far but they seem durable enough, quite small if you have big hands, you might be best with larger ones

I got these scissors to cut my own hair, and they were easy to use. The few dislikes I have about it are 1) It's physical appearance: I think it would look nicer if it had different material for the handles and a bit of colour, and if the bolts holding the blades together weren't visible as they make it look like working scissors instead of hairdressing scissors to me; 2) The movement of opening and closing the scissors wasn't 100% smooth, as it 'stalls' slightly, but this may be because they are brand new and need more use to get rid of this.Overall, personal dislikes aside, in terms of function these scissors are good quality and do the job well. For the price I bought it at, it was a bargain.

Cuts hair very cleanly. Well designed and well balanced I find this very easy to use. Would recommend as a good buy.

Good scissors but would have like a thinner metal on them

Hairdressing scissors that don't actually cut hair very well. My kitchen scissors do a better job. Waste of money! Wish I hadn't bothered.
