We used this for an outdoor shed and needed a smaller base. This fit perfectly and holds the door tightly closed.

I needed a latch for our front gate. The ones at Home Depot were too big. This one is just the right size and is made well.

Works as expected, and does the job, but seems a tad flimsy.

Easy to install, with all included hardware. Great fit for chicken coop.

This latch works great on the wooden door on the back porch!! If you have one of these doors you know it is sometimes difficult to keep them snug when closed especially during storms. Sometimes they sag no matter how strong your hinges are since the weather can give them a beating. I was concerned that the latch would be too wide but it fit perfectly. Very strong and slide easily. LOVE IT! If you just have the very common hook and eye, swap it out for this!! I bought two for that door but only needed one. That's okay I will find another use for the second latch!

I returned this. It was too small for my gate door.

Very easy to install and a sturdy latch. Works well. Only change I would make is have most possible mounting screws hidden behind the bolt so that the latch could not be removed from the outside.

Well enough designed economy gate latch but...the black paint rubs off the bolt immediately where it slides through the latch. I presume because this is stainless steel it won't rust so that's not a deal breaker. Speedy delivery. :-)
