My son is in love with Halloween and every birthday and Christmas list is always halloween stuff. This is the first time I have seen a halloween theme dig it so I had to get it. It is bigger than I pictured and looks great! Such a fun and unique gift. Some of the reviews mentioned that its hard to dig at and I actually love that. I dont like dig it bars that open very quick. I like when they last and the kids have to work at it so I am really pleased with this. We also rockhound and dig locally so my kids are always up for a dig challenge. Dig its a inherently messy so this is definitely an outside activity and I love that it is also filled with Halloween goodies inside! After having done so many dig its its nice to have a variation of what comes in it.

I got this awesome digging kit for the kids as Halloween rolls around, and let me tell you, it’s super messy! If you can, definitely do it outside. They’re having a blast digging for hidden treasures, and it kept them busy for hours over several days—there’s so much to find!I’m totally pumped to dive into this for spooky season! It comes with little tools to help dig out the toys, and there are tons of surprises hidden inside. I’m saving the digging for closer to Halloween, but right now, it’s a perfect addition to my decorations. I can’t wait to uncover all the treasures inside! Love it!

A little messy on clothes but the kids enjoyed the hunt.

This Halloween jack-o’-lantern dig is a unique twist on your usual fossil or dino themed dig just in time for Halloween. It is orange and shaped like a pumpkin complete with a spooky face. It includes a hammer, chisel, and brush to break apart and fish through the pumpkin block for Halloween type surprises, like spiders, bats, and ghosts. It’s a great activity to do on a nice fall day!

This was purchased for my grandsons, ages 4&6. They very much enjoyed excavating for Halloween treasures. It is a difficult pumpkin to break apart with the tools provided, so an actual hammer and screwdriver are helpful.

Makes quite the mess, but it is a fun time. Exploring for all of the hidden little gems inside is a lot of fun

I did not know this when purchasing, but after receiving it, the box has a giant warning label that says the plaster dust can irritate skin or eyes. I definitely do not want my kids playing with this.

Lasted for hours to dig all of the treasures out. Definitely do it outside. Very sandy.
