These work really well for lighting a BBQ. Candles take a lot more time than the old fashioned flame ones though.

Electric lighters
These are electric plasma lighters. They work as well as any other lighter for most things, except could be a little 'hotter' for lighting cardboard. Instead of fuel that can leak and smell bad, these use rechargeable batteries (included) that you plug a USB cord into (also included) for charging. The neck flexes, and keeps its shape well making it good for hard to get at places like lighting your BBQ grille burner. Has an indicator light so you know when to recharge (goes from green to yellow two red as battery goes down) and will light your grille all summer on one charge. Makes a little buzz sound when in use. Nothing annoying, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

Works well/ nice quality
I bought these as an alternative to the long butane "lighters" to light candles and incense with. They don't feel "cheap" and have been using now for 3 months with no issues. I was so please with them that I picked up more to give as little gifts

Works but not the greatest!
This product is a five out of five if we’re talking about lighting candles because it does just that it doesn’t let him right away. He kind of got him hold him on the wick for a little while. Short, the safety design is is actually really cheap. I mean my five-year-old can figure out how to turn it on and I caught him with one one day and there is no flame on him. It’s all electricity that part I feel like the coolness of this design. I’ll give it a four out of five. It’s pretty cool but that’s it. out of five stars, I give it a two for the battery life the plus side of this they give it a five star is that you can recharge it.
