This is a very poor quality softbox. The actual light output is great and it's got a fantastic spread without any hotspots. especially with the secondary diffuser inside, but it's started to fall apart after the second use, with frayed seams and a bent 'umbrella' arm already. I've used Selens softboxes before and have always been impressed, but this one is flimsy in comparison, being made out of what feels like the cheapest materials possible and with substandard metal in the bracing arms. Really disappointed because the light it allows you to create is fantastic.

Very easy to put up and take down. No poles to insert into holes just put it up like using an umbrella.The baffle inside the unit gives it more output options too.Overall an excellent item. I will look at other Selens products first as I need them.

I own the Aputure lightdome mini II, which is great, I wanted the full size lightdome II but couldn't justify the price so thought I'd give this a go at less than half that price - it's perfect. It works like an umbrella rather than clicking every rib into place so is up and down in seconds, it's solid, light, well made, I'm not sure how you could beat this product. If you want a large lightdome, just get this.

Fits absolutely perfect on my Luxlight softbox... Good construction does what it should.. And a good price too 👍🏻📸
