I bought the succulent variety soil. Many reviews say that it has a little soil and bunch of other matter in there but it’s not true. The mix is definitely rich in soil and doesn’t have too much matter added for drainage. All my succulents are thriving, I am first time succulent mom so that tells you something. If anything, I will add some beach sand to my next batch for cacti and succulents. The soil appeared healthy and it was plentiful.

Basic woody soil, good for people that don’t want to bother researching and mixing their own. Mine had little nit flys emit after watering. but it was no big deal unless you need to impress your visitors. then i guess you wouldn’t want tiny bugs flying around your succulents

Love this soil mix, planted many different types of herbs and veggies with it and the plants go crazy! Have not had any issues with mold or bugs which is a must as I use this inside. Will buy again.

This is beyond bad. I potted one plant and put the rest of the soil in a container to keep it safe from cats and potential pests as I always do with my indoor potting media. The potted plant started to almost immediately grow its own fungus patch, mushrooms coming out of nowhere as you can see from the photos and continue to come up every time it's watered.After checking on the container the soil was kept in, I found that several generations of mushrooms and their ghosts had grown and died many times over as shown in the photos . It seems once the soil had dried out from the moisture it came with, the colony could no longer bloom. When I went to throw this all away, the soil came out of the container in one giant clump from the underground fungus structure holding it all together.I simply cannot state how disappointed I am to spend this amount of money on something that could potentially put my health at risk from the random, who knows if they're safe for humans, fungal spores that pervaded my home before I noticed the actual mushrooms. I wish I had done this sooner to try for a refund, all I can hope now is to alert others to be safe and on the lookout if they already bought it, if not, DO NOT purchase this.
