Richwood Selmer
I first bought one of these guitars about 3-4 years ago and could not believe the value for money, but due to another musical project that came along I had to part with it.Anyway back into Django and had no hesitation to buy another off the RHMC, like I said in the first review which they still use to this day in their feedback........."Bloody Stunning"An excellent entry level guitar to all aspects of Gypsy Jazz guitar playing and comes with decent strings too!!Glennhow56

Disappointed.
Good price, nicely finished, in tune. Terrible string rattle, tried various gauges. Nil volume. Very disappointed, waste of money really.

Cheap Gypsy Guitar - Richwood
Good value for money.I think I may just be lucky, because at this price, it is much better than expected. I adjusted the truss rod, and great playability. I later purchased a more expensive D-hole model by another manufacturer, and spent another £80-00 having the neck heat-treated and the frets re-dressing. The second guitar is better both tonally and volume-wise, but it does have a solid spruce top. For a cheap intro to manouche guitar playing, I cannot fault the Richwood.

For the money a very good guitar, well made and a really nice finish
For the money a very good guitar, well made and a really nice finish. Swapped the tailpiece and strings and now use it regular at gigs and yes I do play Jazz. For £159 its a really nice piece of kit.

Great Selmer maccaferri copy for the price
Bought one about 6 months ago. First impression, very well made and finished guitar which gives a pretty acceptable Gipsy Jazz swing sound. Helped if you replace the original strings with something like jazz strings from D'addario or Argentines. And you should really use a fat pick like a Wegen. All together I was pretty pleased to get this as my first 'Django' guitar. It's hard to believe you can get this sort of style and quality for the price. Of course it's made in China, but don't let that worry you, Gitanes by Saga, and Del'Arte's are made there too and can cost 10 times the price. So if you want to learn Gipsy Jazz and don't want to pay 3 times as much to get the sound, you could do worse.
