Clif Bar Shot Gel

these gels are thick and stodgy. not exactly pleasant but they do the job of delivering an energy boost when you need it. the seller really needs to make it clear in the advert that this is a 24 pack and not an extortionately priced single sachet!

I already knew Clif Bar because I used the energy bars in my mountain bike trips and I was happy about them, so I wanted to try this gel for running long distances.The cofee taste is very good, plus the caffeine very useful when you need some extra energy. Unlike other energy gels you don't feel the need to drink water in order to rinse your mouth and I found it easy to digest. I would warmly recommend it.

Great taste, perfect size (not too big like many gels) and the caffeine in it is what really gives you a boost when needed

The double caffeine in these really packs some punch. In the latter stages of a 50+ mile race I was described as a 'springer spaniel pup on speed' and it was all down to these gels. They can be relied on to give you a right good boot up the bum just when you need it most!
