Telescoping seatpost, but nothing more
This is one of - if not the most - affordable "dropper" post on the market, but it's not a dropper as most people know them. There's no remote, no damping, you pull it up and push it down by hand and can't really do so while riding. It is best considered a modern replacement for the old Titec Scoper telescoping seatposts. I use it in a frame with a short interrupted seat tube, in order to get the height I need for climbing while still getting my seat low enough for DH. And that's really the only scenario where this makes more sense than a lighter rigid post or a dropper with a remote.If your climbs go all the way up and your descents all the way down, you don't really need anything fancier than this. Just don't think of it as a dropper.Too soon for me to comment on durability. Will adjust 5-star rating downward if it does not meet expectations.
