Awesome set of the best album ever made
This is a heavy weight item, and the contents are amazing.I have the separate issues of the new vinyl, cd and Blu-ray but what is inside this package is different. The vinyl covers feel superior the vinyl is great and the book is ... well heavy.I have lost count of the number of versions I have of TDSOTM but this is well worth it.If you love this LP and can afford it don't miss out.

Wonderful addition to any collection
As a lifelong Pink Floyd fan I have to admit that I did miss out on the 'immersion' box sets, but have caught up with the early years, later years, Animals box sets, however, this set is even more wonderful, the pressing quality of the vinyl is first rate with no pops, clicks etc, the other bits and pieces are also high quality items. I picked up on people's negative comments before its launch but took a punt on it anyway, and I'm so happy that I did, the whole thing, including the box design is the highest quality.

It's a given.
What else can one say that hasn't already been said? Oh, and go see Australian Pink Floyd who are performing TDSOTM in its entirety.

Huge!
As someone already said, there is a lot of packaging and the box is much bigger than the usual vinyl box sets. It's not quite as gimmicky as the Immersion boxes as we are spared the dice and scarves etc. It's not a brilliant design as the two paperback booklets rattle around in one of the compartments. The space looks as if it was designed for a larger book?I suppose there are three types who will pay the £225 I did. PF T shirt fans, Audiophiles and both. Frankly after buying at least six variants over the decades including the MFSL CD, I'm not interested in the paraphernalia, just the holy grail of a decent audio production! Having waited this long, I had wondered whether the story that MFSL has accidentally erased the original Master tape was true.I can now finally say that the Atmos mix has at last succeeded in revealing a faithful and dynamic sound. It sounds as if every channel has been put through the washer and removed all the dust and nicotine and put back together in perfect working order with all the little submerged details restored. If your an audiophile, purchasing this entire box of tricks for one Blu-ray disc for over £200 is ridiculous! If only others would follow the Alan Parsons Project lead and produce a single box for the surround mix Blu-ray at around £20. The two Blu-ray discs appear to have duplicate surround mixes and the Atmos disc is only 10gb. Could probably have included all the surround mixes on one disc. That said, if unlike me you haven't accumulated a pile of versions already, then this is probably worth it and hopefully represents the final word.
