My daughter was given a few books at her 12 month child care appointment, and since she showed immense interest in those, keeping an eye on the future we invested in a library that could last for a few years and still remain relevant.My favourite feature of all Mathew Van Fleet books is there construction and ability to withstand toddlers hands. We love the other Van Fleet Titles and hence bought this too. Spread across 18 pages with pictures of farm animal families, has texture, flaps, push in pull out tabs etc.And yes the sturdiness of a Van Fleet book to last toddler years is present as always. Once again happy with my purchase.

My little girl (11 months) absolutely loves this book. Its very interactive with all the pop ups, moving bits and things to touch. I love the fact that it has real pictures of animals so she actually learns what a cow/pig/horse etc should look like. So many children's books have cartoon animals that are so animated that they are almost unidentifiable! The pages are really strong too, so she can turn the pages or clamber all over the book without damaging it. Highly recommend the 'Dogs' book in this series too.

The pictures are great and my kids have loved his books but it makes for truly awful reading!Naff rhymes and painfully similar to his other books but the pop ups and images save it. I wish someone else would write the books and use his images!Thankfully we have made up our own things.

Absolutely beautiful and educational book. For a little one that loves animals this book is perfect. Each page focuses on a different animal with moveable and pop out pieces and lots of touch and feel bits

My 8-month-old daughter LOVES this book, as does my 2-year-old nephew. My daughter much prefers books with photos rather than illustraions, and there aren't nearly enough of them on the market. The photos are great, the text is funny (even for adults). I can't reccommend this book enough. If you like this, also try CAT by Matthew Van Fleet.

Great book but this was the American version-this wasn't made clear when I placed the order, so I wish I had just gone to my local bookshop.
