Timeguard LED200PIRB Twin LED PIR Floodlight - Black

I had two installed a few years ago and they are great. The updated version is excellent and very bright. No problems!

I am reviewing these after approximately 2 months of use.First off, these are tiny. Deceptively small, but don't let that fool you - these are a brilliant light.I bought them to replace the twin 50w halogens which had served their time, blew, and needed to be replaced.I was concerned when I saw how small the Timeguard unit was, but I needn't have been as these two little beauties easily fill my back garden (about 100m2 ) with a crisp LED typical light which is easily manoeuvred to suit where you need the light to point.The sensor works fine, and time can be quite easily adjusted.Only small negative is if you have a switch to control your rear floodlight from inside the house for example, and are used to being able to switch it on and off for a quick look in your garden etc., this light doesn't work the same way. I have found I need to switch it off for around 6 seconds before switching it on in order to 'trigger' the light into coming on without movement.I would even let that one small point knock any stars off this fantastic product

Brighter than my earlier twin reflector E27s and uses much less power, is significantly smaller and more discreet, has a better PIR sensor and is not glaringly dazzling either. You pay a bit more than the average, but it is worth it. I have found no better.

this a compact and effective product. Many of the concepts of design are excellent. It is easy to wire up and really it does not need an electrician to do it. The adjustment of timing and range is a little fiddly and basically is a matter of trial and error as small movements of the little adjustment stick make big changes in timing. But the light is clear and the tilt and swing adjustment on each light is quite extensive. It is good to have 2 lights (especially in my case) enabling light to be thrown on the entrance to the parking space with one and on the door to the house with the other.So why not 5 stars? I found the initial separation of the 2 halves - very frustratingly difficult and I'm not even sure how I achieved it. Certainly not by following the instructions which were to twist and pull which undoubtedly would have broken the lugs holding it together. Fortunately I had been warned about this by a previous reviewer. The way the two pins link with the connector is clever - but I found the unit hardly any easier to reunite once the back plate was screwed to the wall than it had been to separate. I only hope I never have to open it up again.But I recommend the product. It is neat and once opened up, wired and reassembled works very well.

got three of these already as i really like them. however, the latest one we bought throws out a really soft/yellow light not the bright white as described. even my 11 yr old son remarked how yellow it looked! contacted the suppliers about this and they offered us a massive 10 percent refund (after they had come down in price by 10 percent) or to return for a full refund. This was after paying a local spark £30 to install it so not realistic.These are great little lights but be warned the newer ones are not cool white and while i will probably buy them again , i will not be buying them from this supplier

Brought these lights for the side of our property as we had no lighting. I found them easy to install, and give amazing coverage. The ability to change the angle and make them point in the direction you need mean that you get great coverage alongside the property.The sensor is good and works as expected, the build quality is great and I highly recommend this for someone looking for a twin LED light with a PIR.

Ordered one of these for a customer, used timeguard many times over the years and alway been good quality products.Installed light and it wouldn't turn off, just came on all day and night, double checked wiring, must be faulty fitting, ordered another, replaced the faulty one, this one switched on and off as it should but the LUX adjustment made no difference so the light worked during bright daylight, phoned timeguard tech support who confirmed I'd got two faulty products, sent both back for a refund and won't be fitting any timeguard products again. Made me look incompetent to my customer. Cost me a fortune in trips back and fourth.
