I was looking for recess lights to use in my remodeled bathroom and came across these. I like the fact that it is made of metal and not that cheap plastic look. I wanted the gimbal option and I was quite please with the look of it and the spotlight feature. The installation was easy and I like the insulation seal it comes with that gives it a nice fit against the ceiling. The various light brightness provides some great options.

I liked that I was able to get the small 4 inch size lights and they are can less. I did not have space for a can type light, but these worked perfectly. They were easy to install, the cutting template that came with it was slightly off but was not a major issue. I would also like to note that I liked the fact that I could set them for warm or cool light before I installed them. Since they have their own junction boxes I was able to decide how far or close together I wanted them. I thought they were swivel as in multidirectional. These lights can be moved in one direction only, right or left only. That aspect caused me to only give 4 stars. Overall these lights were easy to install and have added more light to the area where I needed it. These lights can be used in any space, office, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc. because of the ability to choose warm/soft or bright/cool lighting.

Easy install, good brightness, and the different color temps mean you can use it all over the house. It just plain works

All the lights flicker. Even when they are directly connected to the power source.

Value for money and easy to install make your rooms look beautiful.

These installed just like any of the many other recessed lights I've installed. As always, double check the widest portion of the light that's going to be recessed against the hole saw you're going to use. I hardly ever trust or use the included templates with recessed lights.Because of the CRI90 rating and the pivoting head, I chose these so I could light the artwork I have hung in my hallway. It has been a couple months and I haven't noticed any flickering or color change between the four lights.

So... fantastic when they work-- and they will work for about a year.Have 42 of them in my house... I've had to replace about half of them over the last 18 months.Of course-- now the 3,000K variety are 'out of stock' and I've got four dead ones and one flashing one... mostly they're out of stock because people have to KEEP REPLACING THEM.Supposed to last for 32 years (ah, no) I would have been good if they lasted five years...but nope, nope, and nope.They would possibly be replaced under warranty but who could figure that out/ be bothered ( after about half an hour of searching out how to accomplish it I said to hell with it ( I'm sure they've done studies on how long people will look)Now replacing with 42 different ones-- expensive and obviously a PITA...Suit yourself-- just do yourself a favor and buy a whole bunch of extra ones.
