This stuff works great. If I don't use it, my hair color turns very brassy, so I ever color without it. The large quantity of individual packs is great so I don't have to think about buying any for a long time

Sorry, I don’t know who decided this removed reds or gold from the hair but when I added it to my already ash brown hair color that I have been using for two years thinking it would remove the last little bit of any red. It actually turned my roots, orange. Grrrrr what a mess stick with what you know and don’t bother.

I purchased this item locally and feel the need to tell the world THIS DEPOSITS COLOR. The instructions say to "use with tint" which to me means everything but pure bleach/lightener. WRONG. This is apparently designed to neutralize red in dark browns. It is not meant to and WILL NOT take brassy tones out of blonde. Run for the hills. I am no longer blonde after using this product but as it sat on my hair for the full time it would take to lighten 3 levels to a full champagne blonde, my hair is just as damaged. I actually want to sue this company. The instructions and packaging are misleading. Do not buy this unless you want to neutralize red in dark brown. Not sure why that woild ever be an issue for anyone but thats what this is meant to do.
