Excellent external SuperDrive housing
Excellent way to recycle MacBook Pro SuperDrive to use with iMac - works perfectly. Haven’t tried it to house an extra ssd but I’m sure it would be fine for this purpose with the included adaptor etc

Breathe life into your old Mac and fit an SSD.
Easy to fit and makes an SSD upgrade to your Mac a breeze.Move the existing hard disk to this internal caddy, fit an SSD as the primary HDD, install Carbon Copy Cloner and backup the existing hard disk os install to the new SSD as a bootable drive, reboot ..... Voila a virtually new Mac. Forget the CD caddy, that doesn't seem to be reliable but I don't miss it at all.

Adapter is perfect fits great and have had no Issues the disc caddie is a little low quality it works but I would feel better it it had a bottom to it
