This works well with a GoPro equivalent action cam attached to a helmet. The straps fit through the helmet slots and it can tighten so it doesn’t move. The attachments aren’t as good quality as the ones I got with the camera but they do work, I don’t like shiny gloss plastic things, they feel too cheap for me and I don’t trust the strength.I got wobble with the camera but I honestly don’t know how you could avoid that on a helmet without a very expensive stabilising camera, this one worked very well with me.You can adjust the straps so it fits different types of helmet designs and you have to get it taught enough and in the right place or it will slip down as it jiggles about on a ride, it has to go at the top or bottom of the slits where they begin if possible, I found that the helmet pieces moved together a bit at first when it was more at the front in the middle and it made the camera slip down. There is some trial and error with the positioning but it has done the job.Certainly makes for a better trail video than fixed to the handlebars so you can see the surroundings more and it feels like your riding along yourself instead of a dodge Blair witch project remake on the handle bars where it never really points to what you’re looking at.

I've used this for two rides now on trails and it's been great, my helmet is very angular so now way I could stick a helmet mount on so this was perfect as it simply straps around and you tighten it up, very stable and sturdy too, overall very happy with it and I'm getting great footage with it too.
