Bahco BSK Better Sports Knife with 3-inch Blade, Aluminum

Used daily great knife

I bought this knife as already have two excellent Swedish made Bahco saws, and assumed this little knife would be of the same quality. It is and I am very pleased. The knife seems very well made ( even though it is made in China ) and is nice and sharp and ready for use. Folds away easily and fits neatly into my pocket. Shouldn't attract the attention of the Police as it has such a short blade? There are other knives on Amazon for half the price but I doubt they will match this one. I'm about to order a second one in case the first goes for a walk at work.

Great knife for any camping or foraging uses however not legal as it clicks in place, currently in trouble with the police due to having it on me while getting searched, if you intend to carry this whilst you're out and about best avoid as it can cause issues.

So I like Bacho tools!, have a few; small socket sets, saws, and now a sports knife. My use is in saltwater – it is my fishing knife. I confess that given the sea fishing environment that I was not really expecting that much of the knife since most of my other (makes) get rust spots and lose sharpness quickly. I bought this one from Bacho since it has a ‘rope cutting’ serrated element. OK....., 6 months on from using the knife in a sea environment, my expectations have been surpassed; no rust, no rust spots, still really good sharpness, the serrated element (still) cuts polysteel rope without issue…. I did not expect this knife to be quite so good. 11 quid?, love it!

Questo coltello è una bomba, si presenta molto bene, è molto simile alle lame Mora Clipper, se non proprio le stesse, leggero, robusto e affilato. Pagato 17E, si può trovare nelle migliori ferramenta o negozi di giardinaggio tra i 12E e i 15E.Credo che la Snap-on americana, che ha acquistato la Bahco anni fa, abbia tenuto in vita il marchio per il settore "premium", quindi quello più specialistico. La qualità secondo me è superiore ad un mora clipper, e questo non è sicuramente da poco! Forse perché commissionando il lavoro alla Mora appunto, e ordinando una grandissima quantità di questi coltelli, i macchinari si settano meglio.

Bahco is a Swedish company. But this folding utility knife with a locking mechanism is made in China. It is similar to many such knives sold under different brands here and elsewhere. It is reasonably well made, and at the right price it is a good buy.
