I use this product first then my moisturizer. My skin feels so soft. Every other product I use goes on smooth.

After reading all the reviews I noticed they were left by customers who received the product for free. I purchased this product and am not happy with it. No results and leaves weird layer on skin.

I've been testing this product for about a month now, I've really enjoyed it. Seems to be a little bit of promising research out there about this Snow Mushroom, not only does the hydration penetrate easier with smaller molecules than HA, but contains Kojic Acid which is good for hyperpigmentation.The packaging is simple, glass bottle and a blunt dropper that works well. The serum itself is clear with tiny white flecks and a medium viscosity from the aloe base I assume. My nose isn't great, but I don't detect any real scent from this. The directions say to wait a couple minutes after application before layering products and I do think this is good advice, it is a bit sticky for a minute but not once it sinks in to the skin.I have non-acne prone oily skin, this doesn't make my face greasy at all. I also use topical retinoids for anti-aging benefits, which leaves my skin sensitized sometimes. This is actually a very soothing serum, again I assume because of the aloe base. I think it's fine on it's own as a daytime moisturizer, I layer it under heavier cream moisturizers at night.I really like this formulation, I think it's very effective for something with a short, natural ingredient list.

This is an interesting serum -- I have very dry skin and use a lot of skin care products containing hyaluronic acid. As the snow mushroom is supposed to contain molecules that are much more hydrating than hyaluronic acid, this seemed perfect for me. I like the idea of such a short list of ingredients. I do have a moisturizer containing an extract of the snow mushroom (Tremella fuciformis) and I really like it, but the mushroom extract is not a major ingredient and listed quite low on the ingredient list. It is not one of the key ingredients, as it is in this serum. I have read about many of the purported benefits of the snow mushroom, so I was happy to try this serum. It has a rich feel but is not at all heavy or oily. It goes on easily, and it does feel a bit tacky for a while, but it eventually goes away, leaving a smooth finish. It does have a rather odd scent, part earthy and part herbal, but it is not unpleasant and it doesn't seem to last long. In addition to dryness, my skin is also quite sensitive. It tends to become dehydrated and rough very easily. This serum causes no irritation, although I don't really find it as hydrating as I expected. I think it will work better for me in spring and summer, when my skin isn't quite as dry. It does work well with the other skin care products I use. And it does feel very soothing and helps minimize any redness and roughness I am experiencing. At this point, I haven't been using this long enough (about six weeks) to know about the long-term benefits of using this serum. The current price of $40.00 for only one ounce does seem rather pricey. But, I do appreciate that this product is made in the USA and I like the generous no-fuss guarantee. The serum is housed in a glass bottle with a dropper top to prevent waste. I use a full dropper or so to cover my entire face and neck, so I do use this up a little faster than many of my other serums that I often only need to apply a few drops.

The Ultra Hydrating Tremella Mushroom Face Serum came well packaged in a glass bottle with a dropper applicator. I don't think I've ever tried mushroom serum before and was eager to give this a shot. After shaking the bottle per directions, I applied it to my freshly cleansed face.The first thing I noticed is how lightweight it is. It isn't oily at all and it absorbs very quickly. It smooths skin and leaves my face looking and feeling fresh and hydrated. It dries down to a matte finish and is the perfect serum to use before applying moisturizer. The ingredient list is short and sweet and it does not cause any irritation. This tremella mushroom serum is just as good and effective as hyaluronic acid based products and I feel good about using it.Made in the USA~ Kort
