I installed two bulbs in an old fixture with a magnetic ballast that was working fine with the t-12 bulbs. It worked great for 6 weeks, very bright, but one bulb burned out exactly 6 weeks to the day after installation. I'm trying to find dual end ballast free bulbs , but no luck so far for 6 ft.; I may have to change to 4ft. that I have used with great success from a different manufacturer.
