This past summer my sister and I traveled through the Luberon region of Provence. It was a trip I had wanted to take my entire adult life and finally got to for my birthday. I was so excited to see that Jamie's book not only includes photos of villages where I walked but also captures so many of my sentiments towards the region. The photography is exquisitely beautiful but beyond that it reads as a journal of discovery. I feel a kindred spirit in her words. It is layered with recipes, experiences, insight, and beauty. Ultimately we're given a window into one woman's journey cultivating the life her soul drew her toward. I admire her work and authenticity. Thank you for sharing and now I can't stop sharing this book with others. I already bought one as a gift! I highly recommend this as a treat you can savor over and over, a little or a lot at a time. And until I can return to Luberon again, it will remind me that I can bring the inspiration and beauty into my day to day life right where I am.
