I bought this record for my cousin who just got into vinyl records.

Who knew a mixtape would be put on vinyl? This was a truly fun purchase to break in my new player. Really cool album in general, so glad to have it on vinyl especially since the crackling sound of the needle touching the vinyl goes perfectly with the intro of the album but you’ll have to listen for yourself to find out (no spoilers lol). Also, when I opened this vinyl, I was super surprised by what I saw. Coolest vinyl ever if you ask me. I thought...of course...it’s E. Badu (lol)

I love this Badu mixtape. I would like a full album next, but this will work in the meantime. There is not one song on the mixtape that I dislike. I love the remakes, but she put her own individual twist into each and every song so much that she could have been the original artist. It's nice to know the original but have a true artist put a twist to something and make it their own. I LOVE HER!!!

I'm biased though. She could sing the abc's and I'm sure id love it. Lol. Seriously though I enjoy this album just for the entertaining reminder of how reliant we are on technology and our phones, which is both good and bad. What's yo phone number and hello are my favorites.

Excellent! I have loved grooving to Badu since I was 16 hanging in my friend's basement. It always gives me the feeling of being high even though I'm sober. This album is more of the same goodness.

Love me some Erykah, very few real women in the game that should be larger than what we're spoon fed and told who are hot and who's not.

Senza dubbi uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto dopo 'New Amerikah pt II'. Disco quasi tutto di cover, ma di gran classe e talento. Inoltre, bello esteticamente anche il vinile di colore bianco trasparente. Da avere.

Merci à l'émission "nova club" sur radio nova pour cette decouverte. Un concept album d'Erykah Badu sur le téléphone... pourquoi pas ! Le résultat est au top ! Ça groove de A à Z dans un esprit nu soul lounge. Mention spéciale à "Mr téléphone man".Super pochette au passage !
