2017 Kia Niro Roof Rack Cross Bars

Easy to install with a very secure clamp-to-rack mechanism. The cross-section of these bars is quite large and deep....so aerodynamic drag becomes an issue with both noise levels at highway speeds and lowered average mpg. I will most likely remove these racks....and only use them when actually needed. I was somewhat surprised to see these very same racks mounted on a neighbor's Audi---so there is a manufacturer out there supplying this "universal fit" crossbar to the public. (I had thought when ordering these that they were a Kia product designed specifically for the Niro.)

Great Roof Rack. I don't hear a whistle or anything after adding it, it looks cool so I'll leave it on year around. I've already used it to transport two bikes and in the winter I'll use it for my skis.

So the company I bought it from Kia Southest was a joke, one person at the company was awesome, but the manager of the parts department, I never want to deal with again. The original rack came incomplete with broken parts, and the manager seemed to blame me. It was so easy to see the error was at the point of sale.Process of replacement was long, as I think manager tried blaming UPS...The replacement product itself was good, however the end caps are just pushed on, so would be easy to pull off, or fall off over time. That's my only issue with the rack itself. I used a little Gorilla Tape to secure them, but it doesn't look as nice as it should.

Car looks great and sporty! with the kayak attachments, I can carry two kayaks.

Whistles loud but that's how it's made. Just make sure your radio is louder. (Seriously. Its loud)It works. I could put it together without directions which is necessary because there are only pictures
