It is BEAUTIFUL.
After reading some of the reviews I was a little nervous about what the condition of the bed would be when it arrived. It was in perfect condition. No scratches, no missing pieces, and it smelled so good, if you like the smell of wood. My husband and I put it together in two evenings. We worked until we were bored with it and then finished the next evening. No problem at all putting it together. Take your time, FOLLOW the easy directions step by step don't skip around just do it one step at a time. You shouldn't have a problem. I do suggest that two people do it, just makes it easier. Oh and if you have a drill definitely use it. The bed is very sturdy and looks so nice !!! the grand kids absolutely love it !!!

Good for my kids
3/19/23: I laid on the bottom bunk for about an hour and I’m 200lbs along with my 45lbs son, it held us well. I am definitely thinking about putting better slats as the ones provided bed easily. My daughter 80lbs sleeps on top and I can tell from the bottom bunk where she is laying because the slats bed a tad bit. It isn’t concerning but I am thinking about changing the slats. Had this bed since Dec 2022 and still holding up well.

Worked for three months
The bed slat broke while kid was making his bed. Prior to this I thought the bed was great, but now I am not impressed. For reference my kids are no where near the weight limit.

Sturdy bed with some minor issues.
I built this bed by myself in about 2½ hours. It helps to have a drill/driver. It is solid and came with all the required parts and the full complement of bed slats. It feels rock solid and my 4 year old son loves it.However there were some issues. Mine had some damage from shipping and I'm still waiting from the manufacturer to get back to me about replacing these pieces as the damage was cosmetic. What I don't like about the bed is that the edges feel sharp. I remember kids furniture growing up to have softer beveled edges and this bed has only a few.The stain on the wood was even. The provided hardware was organized but maybe label outside the bags as opposed to small pieces of paper that soak up the oil coating the screws.Overall I'm happy with it. My son loves it and he now has a place to play underneath.

Good bunk bed- add more slats to make it safer
We got this for our daughters- currently 3 and 5. Works perfect for them. The only negative is that the wooden slats are flimsy and there aren't enough. Our girls were playing on one of the beds (not even jumping or rough housing) and a slat broke. My husband went and got some extra lumber to reinforce it (added an extra $28 to the beds + a few hours of time). After that, they were great.I think they should be made better, but for the price and in a world where it's incredibly hard to find good quality things, it's fine.

Better than expected
It came well packed. There were a couple of scratches that couldn’t be seen once assembled. The instructions were easy to follow and best of all it’s VERY sturdy! I like that the hardware matches the black paint making them less noticeable.

Great looking bed
Overall I love this bunk bed. I bought it in 2019 and here we are in 2023 and it’s still solid despite being put to the test by my girls. I love the Greg color especially it’s perfect for a girls or boys room. I’m thinking of splitting the beds separately soon and seeing how we like that. Assembly was slow because I only had the hardware they provided and no screw driver to speed it up so I used the L bracket to put the entire thing together by myself. But I did it and there were a couple moments where I messed up and had to turn a piece over to correctly put it together. I’m more of a color picture girl when it comes to instructions and this is black and white with a lot of lettered labels.Bottom line: great bunk bed that has held up over the years

Good bunk bed for the price.
For how affordable this bunk bed is, it is nice looking and sturdy enough for our 5 and 7 year old kids to use.

Good wood materials for most of the parts
Value for money is poor. Main parts are made of real wood while some parts like the mattress supporting slats are made of lighter woods. By night 1, with no hourseplaying going on whatsoever, two slats broke so I had to go out buy similar thickness wood, get them professionally cut and replace the cheaper slats . While it will take at least 2 hours to set up, it came with all the parts and a good set of instructions to follow. Initially it was kind of confusing to follow but once we got the hang of it, it was a breeze to setup the rest of the bed. Two people needed to set this up. Delivery was under a week so less than the advertised timeframe for delivery. Pain job is good, seems like inside parts had one coat, outside parts two coats. It would be nice for two coats all around. My 10 yrs old daughter is normal height and she barely can sit-up but that's okay I guess. One rail guard piece arrived with a crack in it and it looks like the manufacture tried to bond/fix it - it will do for now but I wonder if it will crack some more later. I am confident the remaining supporting slats will crack in the future so I bought some spare parts incase.

Trash and incredibly dangerous!
Super dissapointing! The slats are complete garbage and both beds had a broken slat in the middle within a week. There aren't enough slats to distrubute the weight let alone someone climbing into the bed. I would NOT trust this to be safe as a bunk bed, DO NOT USE THIS BED AS A BUNK BED! The slats are incredibly flimsy and dangerous. Really dissapointed with this purchase and shocked that it is sold as a bunk bed option.

Have the boards were damaged.
I bought this bed when it was 35%-40% off I can't remember, but the price was great. It is solid wood and it looks just as the pics shows. My biggest complaint is, out of the 2 beds that can be made. 1 full bed has damaged boards. I mean each board has a dent of varying sizes. That means, like 11 boards out of 22 have a noticeable ding in it. But the price I paid I can repair it and still be ahead . Which sucks for me. I have more pictures, but found it redundant to post all.

I really like the bed .
The bed didn't come enough wood pieces going across the frame it came with 7 pieces for each bed the gap was too big . I went to home depot and got more wood they cut the pieces for me i got 7 more pieces for each bed. . It is more safer now . The rest of the bed is great .

Great bed for kids, takes a long time to assemble.
We got our bed for a great price do to it being a cosmetically damaged piece, but to but honest I could not find whatever issue there was - it looked perfect to me. It’s held up well, and I haven’t had any issues with the planks like others. I have even sat on the lower bunk for an extended time and I weigh over 300 pounds and nothing happening (not that I would sleep on it though lol). Although I could see why others would want to add additional planks. Assembly took a long time, but that’s because my poor husband had to do it himself. He said about 7 hours with breaks (but I don’t think that would be the average time).
