Redeemed an Acer R 13 (R7-371T) with weak built-in wifi that was getting in the way of my online work. After moving to a new apartment shared with roommates, my laptop became nearly useless since it couldn't sustain a wifi connection unless I was within 10 feet of the router. Was about to give up and sell it off for a different model but decided to try this first. Setup was easy and immediately I had a strong signal from everywhere in the apartment, even through several walls to my room, and a good distance outside as well.Signal strength is still very good if I remove the antenna, but knowing me I'd probably misplace it if I didn't keep it on there and I don't mind it sticking out anyway. Bonus: this adapter also works great with macOS Sierra on a hackintosh setup I have running on an old PC desktop. I'll probably pick up another of these so that I can have both the laptop and desktop online at the same time and sync files more easily between them.

It is advertised as compatible with Linux. However the reality is quite different. The drivers are definitely not in any known repo (at least not found easily online). Drivers provided on CD for linux bombed out with several errors using the given install files.I was excited to see a linux compatible USB wireless card I could use with linux - disappointed. I will wait for couple days, in case the manufacturer has suggested recommendations to try. If not this is going back.2017-05-29 Update: Bought another brand which worked like a charm.TP-Link N150 Wireless High Gain USB Adapter (TL-WN722N). If you are playing with Linux, this one is something to consider - ENKER is not there yet (maybe they will be when they see other reviews like mine). Tested mine to work with Raspberry Pi to extend wireless range. not by much but gets the job done.

I needed an a quick and easy way to connect my wife's old desktop to our wireless network and cut the cord to our Internet modem. This fit the bill exactly. It is inexpensive, does exactly what I wanted, has good speed (as fast or faster than the LAN cable) and seems well designed. It is very carefully packed to avoid design, has clear instructions, and includes a mini disc with the drivers. It was a snap to install, and the drivers were up to date. It came almost immediately (but I am a Prime member, so I'm used to that). :-)NOTE: the instructions include a note to install the drivers first and then plug in the adapter. Follow that and you won't have problems. A well-designed solution to a common problem. Highly recommend.

Worked great for me. I needed to get WiFi on a desktop that was Ethernet connected to support Miracast. Miracast is a point to point connection between two devices. It allows you to connect one PC as essentially a second screen for a PC or phone. It doesn't require both PCs to be on the same WiFi network, the just both need to support WiFi. I just plugged this into a USB port in the front of the desktop, launched the Connect app on Win 10 and was apple to present from my laptop and phone to the much bigger screens on the desktop. I threw this into my presentations junk bag, with the cables and adapters I always need, to potentially do wireless presentations without needing access to the customer network. Worked great for my needs.

Great usb wifi adapter. Setup was simple plug-n-play. Small size makes it easy to keep inconspicuous, if you want.I like that it has a standard antenna 'pigtail' connector. i actually replace the antenna that came in the box with a larger antenna i had lying around (from an old router). then i plugged the whole thing into a usb extension so that i can easily position it anywhere (currently on the wall).

Instructions where not great I had to figure out installation on my own because the instructions it came with was incorrect in a few things, anyway After figuring out how to get through the install / access process I disabled the built in wireless on my laptop and enabled this newly installed wifi adapter , I went to speedtest.net ran a test before and after and this greatly improved my speeds.... before installing this my speeds where 39 download /25 upload with this wifi adapter speeds went up to 69 download 29 upload. I notice the speed difference when browsing online.

I bought this product together with the WiFi Adapter AC600Mbps, EDUP USB Wireless Adapter Dual Band N600Mbps 5GHz and 2.4GHZ for my son. The adapter with the external antenna wasn't used yet, but the other one works well.My decision to buy the EDUP adapters was based on a good experience that I have with a similar but slower adapter a - 300Mbps Wireless WiFi USB Network 802.11n/g/b LAN Adapter, that I bought a year ago from another seller.Based on what I've experienced so far, I'd say that this is an excellent product especially when considering its cost.
