Swan Products WRHC1200050 Garden Deck and Patio Self Coiling Water Hose 50' Blue

I only gave it two stars for the not quite two years it lasted. It developed a pin hole which I ignored for a long time. Actually ignored that pin hole for about 3 months so technically the hose only last a year and a half. I never leave my hoses under pressure and always put them back in their storage areas. I have special racks for storing my two coil hoses so they keep their shape and don't get all tangled. The pin hole was close enough to the sprayer end that one day I got fed up with damp pants from getting squirted by it so in the trash it went. I replaced it with the more expensive larger ones sold as those always last so much longer. Like years longer. I have had three inexpensive ones similar to this over the last 16 years and it is well worth paying a higher price and buying the better ones.

not sure about other reviewers who rate this less than 5 star. We bought the first hose in April 2012 to water plants on the wrap around deck on our home. Placed midway between ends, it easily watered more than 40 feet in either direction; perfectly for 4 yrs, coiling up when empty almost as tight as when new. Over the years, it took a bit of prodding to stuff it fully under the step between the upper and lower decks. Never leaked.... until.... I forgot to drain it fully when cold weather set it. (Lowest temp in our area -9 F. Frozen water actually ruptured the two end brass fittings but surprisingly the hose simply expanded. Decided a new one was well worth the money. Now I've installed an easier way to drain the whole upper deck watering system.

The reason I got this brand of hose is because of the flag on the picture of the box.... which I took to mean made in the USA. The description states it is from America's #1 hose manufacturer. The box my hose came in has no flag and says made in Taiwan. BIG disappointment. Really, I think that is awful. It is difficult for me to return items so I'll use it, but not happily.I haven't tried it yet as it just arrived. I wanted to quickly warn anyone that may be swayed by patriotism that this isn't the hose you want.

I was looking for a hose to put in the front of my house that is not ugly and will allow me to put water into the wild animal waterfall so they can drink out of it.This is just perfect. No heavy hose to drag around, and so far no leaks. However, I do not put the water pressure on "high" as the diameter of this hose is not very wide.If I find any issues I will come back and update this review. Thank you.

Good price but does not function well. After one use the coil stretched out. It held its coil shape but does not recoil tightly at all. I maybe extended it 15 ft. It easily twists but is easy to untangle.When filled with water it does not hang on a hook it just droops.Good luck taking your hose nozzle off, it is very difficult without tools. Nothing to hold onto.Hose is transparent and weaker than I thought it would be.

Bought it as a gift for my Mom to use on her porch. She's close to 80 and loves the light weight and is able to water her hanging baskets without hurting her arm. Happy with the performance. Shipping was a little slower than what I liked. It was suppose to be a Mother's Day gift and it came about three days later.

On time delivery, look like as it described in add and photo, but to myself experience not easy to use as the straight hoses. Anyway I can use it with a little problem because of twisting hose ! Sometime I gave to pay for what I have Learned ! Good Seller, not his or her fault ! but mine ...

I wanted a hose that I did not need to roll up and would not be strewn all over the yard. This hose sounded perfect. The first day I got it I stretched it to it's full length. When finished, the hose just sat there. It did not recoil. I have one of this type of hose at another home and it coils after being stretched. I will try to return though I no longer have the packaging. Very disappointed.
