Purchased this book after watching "The Vaccine Wars". Book is short yet informative. Movie has been faithful to the book and the description of the entire process. It describes the role of ICMR in the breathtakingly fast creation of an effective vaccine using tried and tested methods. Overall a great book to buy and support our scientists in their amazing efforts for the country.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading. Do see the movie The Vaccine War. Not just making a vaccine but also testing kits, labs, processing the samples, conducting trials (20 days in deep jungles to find Rhesus Monkeys).

I highly recommend to read this book on struggle and contribution of Our scientist.

This book is easy to read. (Finished it inside two days!) It gives an insider's account of the gripping struggle behind the creation of India's path-breaking Covaxin. Although at times the book sounds too heroic the story behind the indian journey of tackling the covid crisis and developing its own solution that can potentialy solve the pandemic in many other locations is indeed something to be proud of. Covaxin should be an option globally.
