Tombows carry their hefty price tag for a good reason. The colors are vibrant and the dual tips are top notch. They feel nice, they look great, and they are infinitely blendable and versatile. I finally took the plunge and gave these brush pens a chance over the cheaper brands I had previously been using.Wow.Wow.I'll never use the cheaper markers again. Tombows have become an essential tool in my art studio and it didn't take long for me to amass just about every set I could find. The soft pallettes of muted pastels and warm and cold light colors are perfect for adding shading and depth. My compositions really started to pop and the other three artists I share a studio with were so impressed with mine that they became believers and tombows users and lovers. We love them more than what is probably healthy now. I really can't say I've ever experienced a better brush marker for beginners and professionals alike. I urge users of cheaper brands to give at least one of the tombow palette sets a try... When it's this fun and easy to make art the whole creative experience just elevates to a whole nother level of pure creative bliss.
