Do the pads need to be replaced like with normal non heat curlers?

Thank you for your interest in our Heated Eyelash Curler.
No, our electric eyelash curler comes with USB charging, you only need to charge it regularly.
Using Tips:
● The product has a little amount of power before use, please charge the product before formal use.
● Please use it in front of the mirror and avoid pressing on the eyelids 
● Start the product to warm up for about 15 seconds before it can be used.
● The long electric heating brush is suitable for curling the upper eyelashes, while the short electric heating brush is suitable for curling the eyelashes at the corner of the eye and the lower eyelashes.

Using Step:
STEP 1
● Apply mascara before using the partial eyelash curler.
● Turn on the device and choose an appropriate level to preheat for around 10-15s while waiting the mascara to half dry.
STEP 2
● Touch and hold the long heating comb against the root of the upper eyelashes for about 3s and comb slowly from the root towards the tip.
● Hold the position for another 3s to curl. Repeat this operation 2-3 times.
STEP 3
● Use the short heating comb to curl the sides of the lower eyelashes and canthi eyelashes.
● Recommended order of use: upper eyelashes-lower eyelashes
STEP 4
● When the mascara is half dry, apply a second layer of mascara, and then repeat step 2&3 to finalize the curly shape.

How can I clean the eyelash curler?

After turn it off, wait it to cool.
You can use wet(water or makeup remover) soft cloth to wipe thoroughly, pls do not put the eyelash curler body into the water to clean.

Do i need to apply the mascara before curling my eyelash?

Some of our customers reflected that it did work without mascara, more natural, but most customers suggested apply mascara, because that would get obvious curling, so in somehow, it depands on the kind of your eyelashes, you can try both, hug.:)
