I trusted the name Amazon online products,big mistake from the wire purchase to the VSVABEFV 4G Portable WiFi router & Portable WiFi hotspot.1st warning products might have issues was is there SIM cards with these products & what Internet provider is compatible in the products Service information listed, T-Mobile, Verizon, US cellular and more, I called everyone of them. The 1st question the provider ask what brand I answer LTE they all ran a IMEI check, results were can't find the IMEI. Then the users information explains nothing from were the SIM card or memory card is to be installed in what pocket.I'm a Professional Truck Driver OTR & will take them on the road to find Internet and steps to apply but as far as this day I'm letting all know this is false advertising and no help from the products maker or Amazon to resolve this issue, America needs reliable and trustworthy industries to continue growth this is only putting more coal in a fire that needs to be replaced comfortable truthful words and actions fix this because I'm going to advertise everywhere

I picked this up to try to use it with a RedPocket SIM, but I wasn't able to get it working as my SIM doesn't support hotspots and it appears as a hotspot to the network.I was finally able to get it working with a different SIM that is for hotspots and phones.... The speed is "fine" but its hard for me to gauge because I am not using the same sim card with this device as I have used with other devices. However this hotspot is very barebones and has a very minor "interface".the book that comes with it explains everything, but without the book.... its basically impossible to use (unless its already set up).

This is a basic mobile 4G LTE router, with battery.When I receive it, basically you can tell this is an OEM product without specific branding/logo on it, and upon some searching, you would find the exact same product being sold on auction sites and other sites under different "vendor" or "brand", not a big deal, let's check out its function/features...- It is difficult to pry open the battery cover and I can feel it's anytime to break any one of those locking tab, it needs to be very carefully to pry open all the tabs around the whole cover, not a great design in the battery cover. The battery is a non-standard proprietary one, which is difficult to find a replacement for it, or a spare for it.- Also, this router can NOT be powered with only USB power, you must have a battery inside, so, if you lose the battery or it dies, this router won't work anymore.- The micro-sim slot and the micro-sd slot has NO instruction on how to open it, it takes a while to figure it out how to open, put the card in, and carefully lock it back.- Note, it doesn't support eSIM.- The "LCD" screen is NOT touchscreen, it's tiny, only about 1"x1" with basic information displayed. The battery level isn't showed in percentage, only shown in a 5-bar status.- The traffic/data accumulated on the LCD screen is lost if battery is depleted or taken out, that's a big thumb down, as a mobile router, you probably want to keep track how the data usage/quota is being used, not good if it's lost for whatever reason except manually reset. It's only showing the "download", not both the download and upload or a combo of both.+ it supports the recent linux distros and Windows 10 without driver, it will connected as a mobile RNDIS connection, but it is only 10Mbps one.- you can NOT "bridge" the public IP directly to any wifi client or USB client, it always work as a router and wifi/USB client will only get a private IP address, there is some basic port forwarding options inside the admin interface.- upon real life use of it, I notice multiple, random disconnection and reconnect, I am not sure it's mobile carrier related or router related, but when the connection is unstable, the admin interface is sluggish and slow to load, indicating the processing power of this router isn't powerful enough, and the firmware isn't designed optimized.* speed is usable, but not the greatest, it doesn't look like to be 4G LTE speed, only about 3G. Of course it will depends on the mobile carrier or the traffic congestion in the area, so I won't add or deduct any point in this, a real life test is only about 15Mbps download/upload.Overall, it works as an emergency 4G LTE router where you need a temporary or travel internet connection. It is simple to make it up and running.However, it appears that the processing(processor) power of this router isn't great enough that the admin page is slow or sluggish to be load, and there are occasions that the connections were dropped/reconnected as well. The LCD screen has very limited and basic information to show, no button to further control or scroll for any additional information.Last but not least, and important to note, make sure you have a plan or way to keep track the data usage, since the accumulated data usage will be lost when no power or battery depleted. As a mobile router, this is not good.So, if you look for more features, functions, and will probably use a mobile 4G/LTE router for days, this probably worth for 3-star.If you just need something mobile 4G/LTE router for temporary internet access for quick, maybe just less than a day, this probably is pretty easy and can worth for 4-star.
