This is a great watering wand
This is a great watering wand, sturdy and like the swivel on the nozzle to get at the base of the plant.

worked great; lasted less than one year
below is my original review. It broke, squirts water in all directions and all over me if I try to use it.This Stanley Water Wand works great, and is very well made, and I couldn't be happier with it!! I've gone through several other brands of these water wands over the years. I'm a very intensive gardener growing hundreds of items in a relatively small space (walled city patio). This one is, by far, the best I've ever had, and I am very happy to have found it. It feels much higher quality in hand than cheaper competing versions, which became obvious to me as soon as I held it, partly because it is heavier than the other ones I've tried, which to me they've put more material into the product. This one also expands in length longer than any other model I've owned. It literally doubles in length if you extend it. I didn't think I would make such frequent use of this feature, but it actually turns out to be very handy in my heavily planted patio space with hanging baskets. It's one of those too-infrequent purchases I make that I am really happy about after I get the product home and actually use it. I highly recommended to any gardener who needs a water want! It is, once again, the best I've ever used.

Did not last!
Just loved the spray from this water wand, thought I had the very best I could buy. The plastic broke completely when I removed the wand from the hose to store for the winter. Since I am a woman without that much strength this should not happen. Stanley needs to redesign this great wand with steel/metal on and off, plastic just doesn't do the job. This was not a cheap/inexpensive wand either. If they make changes I would buy it again, the spray is just right for watering your plants without giving the plants a hard direct force. By the way, I have the shorter version, and it also broke.

Two Stars
The head/nozzle easily breaks from wand. The plastic connector is seriously weak. Get a different wand

Four Stars
Works really well in our greenhouse.

Excellent ergonomics
This wand is very comfortable to use, the length, the trigger and the grip are all just right., and it appears to be build solidly. The only thing I would improve on is to add a "mist" nozzle.

Fatally flawed
Nice sprayer but with a fatal design defect: the connection between the aluminum shaft and plastic parts on the spray end is poorly designed and ours broke early, possibly due to freezing. It has proven difficult to repair, so far epoxy and tape have failed. Too bad, this ruins and otherwise really nice sprayer. I notice that the Wand is currently unavailable; hopefully Stanley is having that part redesigned for real durability.

Convenient Angle, Gentle On Flowers
The near-90 degree angle is great for watering hanging baskets and the shower setting is gentle enough to not damage flowers or erode soil when spraying. Have had one for a year and I'm getting another one right now because it does the job. I anticipate that maybe the adjustable head may leak in the future but I don't move it much so I'm hoping that will extend its life.
