Much better taste and aroma than even what my Hungarian relatives (from near Szeged) were carefully growing & tending in their own gardens. Outstanding !!!!!!500% better than the 'stale stuff' thats commonly available in the US. Am right now getting ready to prepare a pot of Chicken Paprikás (with cheese-Spätzle) to prove it.

It was the smoked paprika I was looking for

Not much else to say really, it's a night-and-day difference to traditional "McCormik" style paprika spices you get from your local supermarket.Note: if you're frying / air-frying, wait until you're almost done cooking to add this. It's real authentic paprika, so it will burn. And while it's still pretty delicious that way, it's not "full-value" taste when burnt. Just sprinkle it on when you move your protein to rest and let that baby soak in during the rest cycle. Then stuff your face with the deliciousness.

I cannot rave enough about this paprika! I transferred some from the bag to an empty spice shaker, and every time I pop the lid I breath in that wonderful aroma and literally sigh with pleasure. It is such a wonderful flavor I add it generously to almost everything I make in the kitchen.We had previously brought home some Hungarian paprika we actually purchased in Budapest, and it was really good. But this product is so much better it is like night and day. I'm going to go ahead and buy another bag to make sure we never run out and to guard against a change in recipe/flavor.

Dark red with an intense smell of beech wood smoking. It colors the food very intensely. The best paprika on the market! I recommend without hesitation!
