Great training aid!!!
Works really well for my chihuahua. I don't ever use the shock feature on it. Honestly never had the need to...well, only once, but never again. Crazy thing is, my chihuahua learned pretty quickly with the device on that when I click the audible beep, it means to either stop what you are doing wrong or get buzzed from the vibrate function, or come inside. If I needed to correct an action that I don't want him to do, I give him a quick buzz and he quickly stops. Only 1 time he was really excited and was ignoring my beep and vibrate triggers that I had to use the zap function...but the crazy thing is, ever since that day I refuse to use it. I had set it to level 1(lowest setting out of 8, and without the rubber covers...which I feel like I should of put on instead of direct metal studs) and he yelped loudly as if someone stepped on him by accident. Now, this wasn't a correction while interacting with another dog...this was against jumping on someone's leg as they are walking and almost causing an injury to both parties. One thing I was glad about is the adjustability of the collar. And you can trim it to size too. I was afraid there wasn't going to be any holes for the collar to fit my chihuahua, but there was. And the collar has a reflection strip for night use. The remote is very easy to use, the booklet does have instructions on the features and function...but it's pretty straight forward without it. Another feature I love is the charging cable it cones with. You can charge the collar AND remote with the single split cable it comes with. Now as for the distance, I have not yet been able to test that feature, but if it does function at the distance it mentions, I will feel at ease knowing I can try recalling with the audible beep if he is really far and within range. But as for now, I love how effective the device is with training...even though my 2 grown adult kids don't like it as they say it's inhumane, it's a great tool to use against stubborn dogs like my chihuahua.

Very great product, price was great. Shipping was great.
So far, it has worked very well. And it’s smaller than its predecessor which was rather large for our small Chihuahua. This was perfect. Well worth the price I would highly recommend it especially for smaller dogs.

Works well but not very well made
I liked that they have 3 settings for sound, vibrate and shock. My dogs only needed the sound, so I could actually just set the receivers in the yard and activate the sound when they were getting noisy :)I didn't like that the receivers are actually bigger than I anticipated for the extra small dog size.I also don't feel that they are very sturdy - the covers for the plug ins has already come off of 2 units, and also the plastic over one of the on/off buttons is peeling back.Overall though, very inexpensive and since I only use on a random/temporary basis when the dogs are noisy (they don't wear all of the time) they are fine. If you needed something for daily use, this probably won't hold up.

So far so good
We charge the collar at night and put it back on our cat in the morning. The band is adjustable. We cut off the excess material. We tested the shock on ourselves before we put it on our 5 pound cat.We use the collar to keep our cat off the counter top and stove top. The spray bottle did not work with her. She was constantly soaked. She would jump up over 20 times a day. Now if she gets close to jumping I just use the beep and she stops. I only have to use the beep maybe once a day.In the two months she has been wearing this, she has only been level 1 shocked once off the oven and twice off the kitchen table. Usually the beep works to deter her. She doesn't seem to have any negative side effects. The vibrate didn't do much to deter her.We have another cat that we do not use a collar for. He learned to not jump up on the counters. The water spray bottle worked on him.I do work to clean and keep food off of the kitchen table and counters in order to not temp our cat. She is highly food motivated. She is well fed with dry and canned cat food daily.

Doesn’t really work for smaller dogs
I ordered for my Yorkie 5lbs because she is a bit stubborn when it comes to house potty training. I tried everything else, obedience school, bell on the door and I am extremely consistent with schedule. She is super obedient and usually don’t have any issues with anything else. She won’t touch food if I sit it right in front of her until I give her the signal it is okay to eat. She is playful and happy but when it comes to going potty outside it is another story. She will hold it and refuse to go until we are back from our walks. She does occasionally go in the pad inside if I have one down. So I tried this. I tried to fit it to her neck and it doesn’t work. It is either to tight or too loose and the vibration is not enough to make her do anything but look confused at me. Lol. I tried the shock on the lowest setting and that almost made her not trust me again and not obey at all! I had to start all over again! Not to mention the item that was first sent to me was missing the collar and the leads, so they sent another one out and now I can’t even return the item. So it was a waste of 35 bucks and cause me to spend more money to get her comfortable in her own home again!

Great results!
Don't be afraid. These have three options; Tone, Vibrate, and Shock. We have easily been able to train our dogs using Tone or Vibrate on a setting lower that 3. You just need enough to get their attention, coupled with a verbal command. We own these, because two of our Jack Russells were fighting. These helped tremendously. They also helped stop them from barking at the neighbors and going nuts at the door anytime someone came home.Again, you do not need the shock feature unless it's necessary for extreme cases. If you do use it, keep the setting below 3, as that will be plenty, especially for smaller dogs.Be sure to test all three settings on yourself first, so you better understand what you're doing.
